Somethin I've always wondered...

Whenever you guys post any kind of Event, you provide a date for it. For example:

A New Era
November 21 – 26, 2007

The event begins on November 21, 2007 at 10:00 PM Central Time (10:00 PM GMT+1 on Teon and Franz), and ends on November 26, 2007 at 10:00 AM Central Time (10:00 AM GMT+1 on Teon and Franz). The Event Managers will remain in the villages until the December 4, 2007 weekly maintenance.


Why would the event be scheduled to start on 21st at 10PM Central when the day is just about over?

So my question is, is this a Texan thing or what?

Hey let's run the event at the time everyone leaves the office! That way if there are problems we can deal with it in a few days!

Yep. And start it really late just before a holiday when most of the US population, at least, is going to be busy. And NCsoft is gonna be gone. siigh
