I was wondering since there was a 24+ hour time period in which the key letters making it possible to actually do anything with the event didnt drop, if we could get that time back or if we'll just be a day short on letter farming. Anybody else think we should extend the drops for another day?
Yes I know I wasn't being literal. Just meant extending the event just means more of the same. I would however like to hear something about the goof at the begining of the event. I won't hold my breath though.
The event has the chance to be very lucrative for players that are serious about grinding this weekend. My friend and I decided it was the perfect weekend to roll and SH/BD duo, we have gotten tons of enchants and accessories (as well as a plethera of stupid buff scrolls).
I don't know who in their right mind wouldn't want the event extended 1 more day for compensation. It only takes one T or II to make you a 10-40-900mil richer. I for one will take every chance I can get.

I don't pretend to understand it either, but that hat is in crazy demand on sieghart, everyone loves it, I was getting offers of +9 and +8 Homus for the thing, even a ring of core (150mil on sieg).
Maybe it depends on which server you are playing on. On Sieg you can sell EWBs and EWCs for good money, these are both pretty common with the event. Additionally, everyone and their buffer seems to have gotten little angel wings form the event, which go for 10mil and have been selling. *shrugs* There is just a lot of money to be thrown around on my server.
AQ is ~2 billion on Teon and feathered hat ~35m I think. And yeah, I do think they should extend the event. For the first ~30 hours or so of the event it was impossible to complete the words, so the event might as well have not started yet. The result from this was insane prices for T and II, a clan mate sold 2x II for 8m each for example. The lack of ANY replies from NCsoft support except for that one post by Alyra is simply astonishing. It really looks like they have no support working on holidays/weekends, which is pretty weird for such a large company. Actually I would be happy with them just admitting the **** mistake with the letter drops, but the best and most logical solution would be to extend the event by as many hours as it was impossible to get T and II, or extend it until tuesday's maintenance. Guess I have better chances in the lottery though than that happening :)
I agree on extending too, the T's and II"s were so hard to get (It's not that they are easy now)... I don't know if you are having better luck than me but after many hours of grinding all I could deliver was 1 Lineage II and 13 or 14 Thrones.. and all I got was scrolls, 3 EWC and a bsoe...

I spent about 45 hours grinding on mobs not to lvl but tpo kill as fast and as many mobs as possible Solo. Took an Assasin from 24-33 and a dwarf from 10-19. I still didnt get enough T's and II to turn in more than 7 of each word. I did take advantage of the insane prices on the T's and II when they first fixed the drops but as far as the other letters go I had enough to turn in 20+ of each if the T's and II had dropped at the same rate.
To follow up on what I said earlier about not extending the event. That was just discust after seeing how many T's and II the farmers had for sale in Giran.

Ye, well, no word from the powers that be since that one post from Alyra. Perhaps they're trying a new support strategy, Zero Support. Going from sucky to none :)

Is the event still going on? That is to say, are letters still dropping? If so, when will they stop? I'll be finishing work soon and wouldn't mind a few hours trying to get some Ts and IIs, but if it's finished already i'm going shopping ;)
I wouldnt mind seeing it extend but GAH .. good lord. I solo'ed for 14hrs in 3 days (not much by some standards but still) and I didnt get 1 "II" and hmm 3 T's. Bad luck on my part i guess. I've bought 44T's and 40II's for 450/550K tho .. haven't gotten anything decent. Few crap hats (not feathered :( ) and 4 ewd's. <sigh>
If today is the last day ill probably grind out another 6hrs tonight and see how it goes.

Extend the event for one day... And make the only letters that drop are T's and II's. :)
Bah, this is horrible for me... I got three Feathered hats and now I need the event to end before anyone else gets them and floods the market... Prices are already down to 120mil from 250mil before event. This is going to kill my profit. >_<
I found a ton of letters surrounding the event npc in dion today...since I missed the entire event and had already seen that there was an extension I was more than happy to pick em all up. Thank you to whoever was mad enough to drop over 100 of each letter for me :)
The best part of the event was playing inventory scrabble. ;)
you could make the rift fun (amazing that u can) by placing words down in each different room, dirty ones and then knowing which room u got instantly before monsters spawn! :P
