This my question for u guys who have played PS for long time , Which is the best summon to lvl with soulless or shadow , i will be in party with a WC and AW when i hit 40 , we will be doing mostly catacombs.
What u guys think >>>>

Soulless. his higher damage is better as long as you have VR in group which you will with the WC after 48 i think (someone correct this if i'm wrong). He also takes much less XP.
The Soulless has the benefit of consuming less XP, it has Higher Patk and ATK speed it also consumes less Shots per charge. However he casts a spell on you that drains your MP.
Shadow seems to be the slower summon with less Patk and attack speed but has a passive VR effect that stacks with Chant of Vamp/VR He is more durable especially in the catas where you might pull multiple aggro.
I suggest play both of them. Try one then try the other and see what kind of tactics your party can come up with.
Go soulless definatly, he will slow your MP regain, but not stop it, but VR should help him heal himself with his awsome Patk.
I really don't suggest you level with shadow... if you think a little decreased MP regen is a drag, wait until you see what a 30% XP leecher will do to your sanity.. >_>
Most of the time I hunt on my PS, I am the tank puller and healer. I find I can keep a cata room under control easier with the shadow. Now if the party had a proper tank or someone else taking the brunt of the damage, soulless would be the way to go. Maybe it's just me, but hey that is my experience
Soulless and shadow no longer have different attack speeds. Soulless however has about 10% more patk. The contract payment (the mp drain) basically halves your regen. Before i used soulless a lot i always had TP on just in case of pvp. With both contract payment and TP you will slowly lose mp.
On an alternate note i've recently started using shadow for some solo. Though he sucks a lot of XP his durabilty is amazing, expecially if you can grab a buffer and if you can do assassin servitor (woo 39% VR).
