- Stratics Wiki - The Ultimate L2 Resource

The Lineage 2 Stratics team is proud to present the Lineage 2 Wiki. Its been a year in the making and it's a compilation of game data, guides, hints, tips and lore. By utilizing the power of a wiki it will allow for everything in Lineage 2 to be linked together and collaborated by everyone in one easy to use format. We have already laid some groundwork by adding many existing game guides, together with L2P Game data and some ingame lore.


What does this mean for you?

It will make it much easier to keep guides up to date, change the little things needed when expansions come out, add information about all the little things in the game which no one really have had the time or the space to describe before. It will mean that you will be able to collaborate on guides, hints and tricks with other users.

How do I find things not linked already?

It's easy. Either use the search box in the top right corner, or simply type it into the url like "http://lineage2.stratics.com/wiki/Greater Healing Potion". Don't worry about the spaces, the wiki automatically makes spaces into underscores.


The page just gives me an empty edit box (or asks me to sign up to edit)

You've found a page with no info (either you mistyped the name or there's no data for that entry). Simply make an account on the wiki and you'll be able to put in your own data or edit existing data. You do not need an account to view any page in the wiki. You do need to make an account and have a valid email which must be verified in order to edit anything in the wiki.

Notice how easily they're formatted and how easy it is to find the name.


Whats with the blue links and the red links

Blue links means that it links to an article in the other end, red means there's no article in the other end.


This will be very useful for all players, especially new ones, since this will be a central location for all Lineage 2 knowledge. Please ask any questions you have below and please use our new wiki forum on Stratics to post any feedback/questions/changes/etc.

Congratulations on getting such a great resource out to the community, LC. You and your team put an awful lot of effort into this.

Thank you Jay. Yeah, its been a long struggle to make this, plan it, learning and put it all together.

I'd like to thank GDK/Grenorisen for heading up the project, Venkman, Turalyon, Sylphaen and Animoria for helping making it a reality.

Ehhh, a what? The only skills we have any data in there for are skill enchants, which are actually updated to Interlude and sorta to CT-1 as well. The skills themselves do not have entries, they are on the skill list to the left, what should be in the wiki's are player entries where players put in screenshots of the skill animation, give tips on how to use it and whatever else info they can find.

I hope everyone enjoys their visit to the Wiki. Safety helmets will be issued at the door and please watch out for the puddles--they might be blood, sweat, and/or tears. :p

We run wiki in my work to keep all know-how and documentation in one place, I can almost feel your pain putting it all together using that engine :D No J/K it's a bit tricky writing articles in it but it not that hard after you get used to it.

Yeah, we just had tons of info that needed to be put in, like you can see below:

And also just the designing, deciding where things go, whats they're called, what categories and templates should be there, the background code, the blacklist filters, etc. etc. all took a long long time...like stated it can celebrate its 1 year anniversary in the start of December this year. :eek:

I really hope people will both use it and contribute to it, no need for it to be big things, just a lot of small contributions make a big thing in the end :)

hmm, somehow stratics does not work anymore with Opera 9.23/24

Looks like a rip of the old l2p, no offence but alot of the sections just look like a re-skinned l2p. Yet there is no mention of the l2p author.

Uhm, did you actually read whats written?

The following is a compilation of game data from L2P, graciously donated to Stratics by Nyo, the creator of L2P. The data cannot currently be edited by anyone but Sysops and above.

And no, its not just reskinned, its completely redone in Wiki format from the files which Nyo gave to us. This took a long time to do. If you check many of the sections they're now not only wiki formatted but also wiki linked. Also some sections like Skill enchants have been updated with CT1 information.

Nyo donated the whole L2P site to Stratics (as announced here on the forum) and we've kept in contact with Nyo during the development.

Those are from L2P and Nyo. With some updated CT1 info. But there's nothing copyrighted in there from other sites. You cannot for instance copyright lists of data, compilations of such, unless its of an identifiable unique nature of some sort.

This is a compilation of all L2 data, so yes, it will contain information from everywhere.

hmm, somehow stratics does not work anymore with Opera 9.23/24

i found out why it does not work in Opera 9.23/9.24
when i copy ?nocookies=1 or &nocookies=1 at the end of each link i can open it in Opera, if i dont do it and juts click i get a redirection to http:/?nocookies=1 or just a timeout

This is odd, I can open the site fine in Opera 9.24 :( Do you guys have some sort of special settings that could cause it? (proxies or anything?)

only standard settings, i also removed my urlfilter.ini.. same result, cannot remember other big changes to default setting, but i will take a look in it later o0
have the problem on Opera 9.23 at a Suse10 and 9.24 at all my WinXp clients

i have Cookie settings on 'Accept only cookies from site i visit' i changed to 'Accept Cookies' and it worked then
so somehow a cookie from a non stratic site blocks it for me, which is kinda stupid :P

Yeah its been fun to be part of this project, more lore tidbits to come...stupid holidays and being busy

The cookie issue has now been fixed, Opera should have no problems at all regardless of cookie settings.

Thank you :) Any contribution people can make to it will be very much appreciated.

Doesn't have to be big sections, just write a little under maybe a buff or maybe find a topic like dimensional fragments and write about them, etc. Its really easy to do, and every time someone adds a little it all adds up with all the other information and helps everyone.
