L2Calc , although i have heard can be slightly innaccurate, is telling me that you get most p atk and p def out of Maj heavy on a tyrant.. now i see everyone else saying tallum heavy or DC light.. but for a good 70/30 pvp/pve setup which would be best armor setup? thinking tat setup +4 str +4 con -8 dex also DG with health
depends on your level.

after 68, wont matter how much pdef/patk. none at all. as long as you have crit DAMAGE buffs, and the usual haste buffs, youre set. 76+ get baium ring, and AQ. you *could* get zaken, but the VR from it will hurt your Bison.

pvpwise, you want Haste buffs, and PL +6, +5Str-4dex-1con and spam your blaster/aoe's. youll crit 1 in 5 shots, at most, so try to keep grouped. grab a bow (crit dmg) so you can POP people at 400 range bisoned for INSANE damage at 1300+ atk speed and 450 crit rate.

DC light and Tallum heavy would be OK (imo) for under 68 (before Bison). but i would switch after that. for anything else really. hell, lots of tyrants 76+ in IC, works great. lots in Draco too.
so Lets say i go maj heavy till 68 then.. think it will work well.. i usually lvl with a bishop friend or with OOP PP.. if not maj heavy (kinda already bought it hehe ) then lets say whats gonna make fastest lvling from 61-68 u think?
depends again what weapon youre using. the SA totally makes the armor.

DG health at 61 means youre gonna need the Prophet more than the Bishop. the Patk boost of Gr. Might helps when you dont have the atk speed to go nuts.

never go BT Focus

BT haste is pretty silly. 6% isnt enough to really help you. but it makes levelling with Bishop easier. believe me. take GSAP potions tho.

Sobekk's Hurricane with RSK haste would be your best bet, believe it or not. L2calc shows it has an 11% Haste boost at 60% HP. youll need a RED 12 for it, and *I* believe it to be a superior weapon to DG Health for ANY armor. RSK haste with THAT kind of boost will make your skills recharge faster, your swings faster, and your PVE faster. all around its a far superior thing to have under 2 conditions; you HAVE health buffs and SOME +con you dont have to have much; youll also NEED to have some recharging. 11% boost haste means you can spam most skills. this means OOM in a short time. either be smart about mana, or have some recharger friends.

this is why some prefer the Health setup - its safer when you get Bison, you have more health left over when you use it. but its entirely too easy to loose to a glad when you cant a) stun him, or b) outspam him. a glad is your human equivalent. he wears heavy and has a Haste Build version just like you. properly done, he CAN outrun outspam and outgun you. RSK haste (IMO in these situations) make or break you. choose your battles if youre going Maj heavy.
tallum heavy imo
Spud, I will never get how you can be so bloody anti VR with Bison. Its what keeps you alive when fighting anything besides half hp mobs. Xping in places like Varkas, WoA, ToI 10, Hotsprings = No VR = dust eating. VR is a MUST when xping against any half decent mobs. Now the OP didn't mention what buffs/if any buffs are available to him or his lvl but seriously...

IF 60% Bison exping, a tyrant should have acquired a homu w/ conversion. Not saying you can't keep your HP down without it but its asinine not to have one. E.g. you group and there is a tank, you WILL sometimes pull of aggro, VR will help keep you standing. No VR? -4% or mana wasted from your buffer/healer(s). So the homu helps you keep it down while not being a pain for your group because you swear of VR. And please do not pull out your fictional tyrant friends out of your [censored] that have tried what others that group does but ultimate support your solo tyrant PoV. Because I can not phantom (maybe I don't want to) multiple tyrants that think VR is bad when non half hp mobs.

I am guessing our total different PoV might have something to do with lvl dif? Xping spots? Never duo or group? Most definitely play style. I am curious in regards on where/what you xp on and what your lvl is. Your advices always seems to be directed towards the pure soloing pve tyrant. Not someone that ever sets a foot in IT/ToI/WoA/HS/Varka/Ketra/Pagan/Mos etc.

As the OP said 70% pvp, so he shouldn't be xping alone most of his time (correct me if you will be). Also concerning SA you always want health. A haste build in pvp? That’s not only wasting that lovely inbuilt high hp but also relying on not getting [censored] slapped when you are at 60% hp with 3.3k hp at lvl 68 vs. starting of hard at 6.9ish k hp. Faster skill refresh = godly yes, but you need to be alive by then. Not be a 3-4 skill hit kill.

For armor -> Tallum. As tyrant you got high con to start with, although some stuns will make it past. The skill refresh and higher weight capacity vs. stun resist of Maj heavy will prove more useful over all.
WHY are you using bison if youre staying at 60% ?

its CLEARLY better and faster to rift xp with 30% hp.

the 5x 6x and rift boss mobs are tough enough for you to hurt and kill really fast. a live healer makes exp fun for everyone, and the exp is UBER in the rift. bring an SE for recharging IF ANYTHING. the usual method is rifting at 30% hp with another nuker/destro/archer and Prophet/bish or WC/OL together. its faster than catas, no bots, no wartags, and **** simple let alone fast.

rifting makes bison shine at under 30% hp. not to mention bring a spoiler with his own mana box and taa-daa! infinite adena. youll spoil so many A grade helmet recs youll be billionaires inside a week.

if youre going to use bison at 60%, bring a sws.

if youre going to pvp with bison, youre going to need to plan your battles.

if youre going to pve with bison, bringing VR will always get you too high for 30% hp effects. useless in a place like the rift.
Sorry forgot to Specify.. mostly i lvl with a boxed PP OR .. with a live SE and bishop or something of the sort... depends on what i wanna pve on... I got a DC light set at and DG health , but i also have bellion RSk haste +7 which is only 2 p atk lower than DG lol
Once i sell some things i may also be able to get a tallum heavy set for more tanking like situation? would that be good idea?

o also .. atm im only 58 and working hard to get to 61 fast.. any advice?

and the exp is UBER in the rift...

Now, this statement alone concludes that you have not exped in WoA, ToI 10, IT, MoS, Pagans, Ketra/Varka/HS. And no one was speaking of staying at 60% but a Homu Conversion helps insanely in maintaining Bison when you can go STRAIGHT to 60% HP if you go over it.

You speak only of catas and rift, thats something lvl 5x ppl do unless they're polers.
i HAVe done all those places. it REQUIRES 7-9man people. and OOP BUFFERS COUNT !

unless youve GOT POF and ally COV, those places will be too hard. pvewise because of interruptions to it by wartags. pvpwise because xping in those areas means all the 78-80's come to zerg you.

clearly youve not done this before.

in the rift the exp is uber. no matter your level. its uber because of the fact that you CAN kill like crazy. the points per mob may not be much but at higher levels the mob numbers go up, let alone the fact that more mobs spawn every time you clear the room. ever seen hero rift? you wonder why its so easy for heroes to exp? heres your answer.

actually, it would be JuliaDaystar who mentioned bisoning at 60% and under.

which is useless. Hawk is better for that. yes, it is.

ive soloed buffless in HS. it sux. woa is covered in bots FOR A REASON! pk'ing those bots means wartags come to kill you and thats harmful to exp. counterproductive, one might say.

MoS ive seen 9man COV parties die horribly. ive seen and been on the rolling side of the pvp-ers just out to "claim" it for the day.

rift is always best exp, easiest, safest. the only thing it ISNT is cheap.

btw, just how did you think you could NOT mention how Destro's currently plvl people? IN THE RIFT!

btw, if the OP was serious about pvp'ing as a tyrant, he would already HAVE the COV necessary for him to do ANYTHING. so i would say no, he wasnt really 70/30 pvp/pve. i would venture to say he was 30/70.
Destros powerlvl people in FoG, nice try. Pagans is 5people max in party, nice try. Clueless as always Spud, clueless. Varka/Ketra/HS are all places that you can do solo with SE buffs. Oh ya, 7-9 people, go go! Even BDs can solo with SE buffs in Varka/Ketra.

So, are you even over 60?
SOLO means NO buffs, numbtard.

SE = buffs. SOLO is NOT with SE. this is BOXING. speak english properly, finnish tool.

if people that box count as soloers, then my 7 oop boxes count. i solo mos.

i solo imperial tomb, too.

now, to your remark about my level, why should it matter? clearly i am SOLOING in HIGH LEVEL AREAS.

or am i?

go pickle yourself in some flemish pie. soloing means WITHOUT SE. yes, it does. it means playing by ones self. if the OP happens to box a prophet then he is soloing ... duo'd.

FoG is gimp exp, nice try.

and i said nothing for pagans. you put that there yourself. i said i soloed BUFFLESS in HS, nice attempt at skim-reading.

youre looking for confrontation and aruging with me over things that really have little importance.

so, are you even over 30 ?
The buffs dont disappear if the SE is not on your comp you know. Another party can buff you. That is soloing. If FoG is gimp exp, how come every **** hero and nobless wants to be there? How is it possible to go 40-75 in 3 days there then?

So, what did you kill in HS buffless? Got any SS, nope?

i HAVe done all those places. it REQUIRES 7-9man people. and OOP BUFFERS COUNT !

As far as I can tell, that INCLUDES Pagans, numbtard. None of those places require 7-9 people, none. So, you do both Ketra and Varka? Not allied then, cant be 3rd class then either.

I'm not picking a fight, I wanna really know what on earth you're doing in this game since you're giving very vague advice, advice that never seems to be based on personal experience. You're not speaking of levels, or what mobs to hunt at which spot(yes, it does make a difference).
who says i even play?

because i make no mention of the hotspots, i must be low level ?

vague advice not based on hotspot, commonground cookiecutter experience is ... wrong ?

seems to me your mind is too much within the box. extrapolate, interpolate, make assumptions, and calculate. it isnt as hard as you make it out to be.

FoG is gimp. truly. 40-75 in 3 days ... youre making up more lies than anyone here cares to believe. if it were remotely true, there wouldnt be ONE SINGLE PERSON under 6x in this game anymore.

and if you care to look closely, there ARE! literally more under 6x than there are 7x. how do i know? every server complains of emptyness!! but who is complaining ? the 7x - 8x crowd. not the 5x crowd.

FoG is controlled by those powers simply looking to get heroes and zerg sieges with them. nothing more. no casual player could do that. no casual player says to himself "wow FOG i can do 40-75 in 3 days!! LETS HUNT!" no, nobody does. why? cause its not true, and even if it is, its like trying to get Baium. impossible without "knowing people" who will let you by.

stop trying to insult me (youre failing btw) and stop posting horrid lies. youre not fooling anyone, this isnt blah. it IS truly a good thing nobody comes here for accurate information. cause if they did, they'd likely be out in FoG right now wondering why it takes forever to kill one mob - failing at that.

i have no respect for someone who will not respect others. youve shown already on a number of different occasions how you disregard accurate information and make personal attacks on the poster if he/she is an american poster. having said that, i am blocking you. the OP looks at Calc for info, and i suggest something he may not have considered. then you and your ilk come barging in claiming wild things that cannot be proven and are highly disputable. if all the people here you look for more fights than you can handle, and between you and I, youre not doing a good job at showing any debate skill. your personal attacks show you to be an emotional child or woman in a tense time. i bid you adieu.
Lies? Because you cant do it? Right.

Accurate information from American posters? Like feathered hats are harder to make than lvl 11-12 SA crystals? Oh yah, that is hella accurate.

There is no debating when you spew [censored]. You can extrapolate, interpolate and calculate that all you want.

Casual players have no room in a talk about optimal setups and best exp, but nice of you to bring them up too. Shows how much you try to smokescreen your [censored] of FoG being horrible, HS, Varka/Ketra, MoS, Pagans etc. being horrible and how Rift is the mega uber r0x0r place to exp at.
i feel somehow calmer now that i have blocked you. i dont respect you and i am ignoring you.

simply on the grounds that you have no respectable qualities.

i am going to be on my way, knowing full well that your predictable reply was something along the lines of "you arent high level" or "you can't do it so u suck"

and i am not justifying myself with the predictable rebuttals of screens editing out clan name, but leaving level and stats fully buffed.

this is not blah. you arent fooling anyone.
Sounds like someone is putting his hands over his ears and going LALALLAA when he cant take the truth. Great personality there. Especially if you got riled up over a discussion on a game forum, wow.

This is not blah. This is L2 official boards. It still does not mean that baseless claims are to be taken as granted.

Once i sell some things i may also be able to get a tallum heavy set for more tanking like situation? would that be good idea?

o also .. atm im only 58 and working hard to get to 61 fast.. any advice?

i would suggest you to hunt a specific area, but it would really do you no good.

however, try FoG. i hear its 40-75 in 3 days.
And since Spud is being the ****** he always is, he forgets to mention it is Titan pole group that does that. But hey, he suggests that you go PVP in PL set and be a 2-shot even to Bladedancers, master of PVP and PVE.
thanx for the advice guys.. wish everyone wouldnt argue about it tho.. just state some opinions im still new and i am not really all that casual of a player i would really like to learn the ins and outs of the pvp/pve game without having to pick thru insults and sarcasm...but either way ty for the time and effort ^__^ /end carebear
well, my personal opinion is that no tyrant should go into pvp without severe support. pvp is the hard part of this game.

and it pays off to have good gear.

i suggested a C grade gear and some may think it stragne - however the reason i suggest this is because STR affects the FREQUENCY ad POWER of your SKILL crits. like blaster. like storm. the higher STR you have, the more FREQUENTLY your skill will crit.

this is not to say you cant go toe to toe with any other toon; far from it. your blaster and your ranged capability after lvl 68 (while at 30% or under instead of 60%) is TREMENDOUS.

ive posted a skill method that works to a degree pretty good in your b-A-grades, however things change with Bison and with Gear. pvp'ing in a PL +6 set means youll actually be taking a support DD role instead of a main DD (which considering your support - might be best).

the only other advice i can give you if you want to be a wicked-[censored] pvper is to get a clan, and learn from them. they wont show you how to pvp using a tyrant, but theyll show you the weaknesses of their classes and let you fill in the blanks.

by all means, what Julia and Charmille say is valid. but i dont like it. been there, burnt the Tee Shirt.
Spud, seriously you sound like an unrully child atm. Its like no matter what epxeriences others may have, it must all be lies if they conflict with your point of view. What is your point with posting now? To listen to other peoples point of views and gain more knowledge of your class and the game or to skim read and try to shove your opinion down peoples troath as the supreme right one?

First to correct some stuff <.<

SOLO means NO buffs, numbtard.

SE = buffs. SOLO is NOT with SE. this is BOXING. speak english properly, finnish tool.

I don't get your obssesion about solo in the places I mentioned, as I clearly said them in connecting with VR, which means not solo but duo at least. So giving Charmille [censored] is just stupid.

WHY are you using bison if youre staying at 60% ?

As Charmille pointed out, I talked about the pros of a homu w/conversion.

its CLEARLY better and faster to rift xp with 30% hp.

There is a reason for why 95% of the high lvl l2 population succesfully xps at those spots - they are good and possible. E.g. I used to 30% Bison duo WoA at lvl 70 for 8-9% per hour. Also Ofc some of the spots are dangerous, thats the point. I don't expect Koreans to make good xp easily obtainable at high lvls. Particularly as L2 is their flagship in regards of true hardcore mmorpg.

if youre going to pve with bison, bringing VR will always get you too high for 30% hp effects. useless in a place like the rift.

For you and perhaps some other tyrants it does ok? For other tyrants it doesn't, it enables them to tear apart harder mobs like they were rice paper for good xp. So please don't make a 'statement of fact' that it will always happen when plenty of us other cookie clutter tyrants manage just fine.

i HAVe done all those places. it REQUIRES 7-9man people. and OOP BUFFERS COUNT ! unless youve GOT POF and ally COV, those places will be too hard. pvewise because of interruptions to it by wartags. pvpwise because xping in those areas means all the 78-80's come to zerg you.

I duoed 30% Bison in Varka/ToI 11/WoA/HS - charmille has duoed those as well btw. I done parties in all the other places mentioned as well WITHOUT it being a full one, save Pagans ofc, and with no CoV/PoF or other end game buffs. I think highest buffs were lvl 73 EE O.O Charmille been in some of the spots with me, despite your out right "statement" that he supossidly hasn't. Others also go those places without end game buffs, its hard yeah but that makes it more fun. Its not just click/F1/F2 etc. with the buffer(s)/healer(s) surfing the internet because there is nothing for them to do.

FoG is gimp. truly. 40-75 in 3 days ... youre making up more lies than anyone here cares to believe. if it were remotely true, there wouldnt be ONE SINGLE PERSON under 6x in this game anymore.

In regards of the FoG thing, its kinda well-known the mad powerlvling you can do there. Some months back there was even a thread where someone complained that the current (SK I believe) hero had gotten 40-76 nobless in 2-3 days in FoG.

Thing is it requires some mad buffs and specific classes with a Titan poler being a must, which restricts it to the big alliances and various powerlvling services. On Teon you will see a constant red war going on between two power lvling services in FoG as the good FoG xp spots are very corverted.

Did you even bother looking into it or did you just dismiss it as untrue because it did not fit with your one track vision?

For the OP sorry about this spectacle :P Guess its become clear the multiple ways of playing a tyrant. For lvling FoM/Forsaken plains/Seal of Shillen/Deep Patriots are decent, though best would be to check them out and see which fits best with how you play and what support you got with you. Btw at lvl 61 you def. wanna try out second room at GC top floor. With live SE. If you can work around the beast lord and manage the respawn rate, the xp is very good.
Meh started watching telly while typing this so a bit delayed I guess. So my apoligies for that.

Spud you claim you been there and done that, just what is it in pvp that we both done? You do rift, I fight for those before mentioned spots against botters/bot prots/alliances etc. raging for 1 guy to full gank team. If its strictly the pve, meh like I said, sounds like you just havent given the areas a proper chance since they are wildly popular for a reason >_< Or (not meant as an insult) haven't reached that lvl in the game where you will need to kill in some of those spots e.g. HS and Ketra/Varkas.

My best advice for the OP would be experiment. Don't be scared of losing xp if it means in the end you will improve. Also imo reading++++ is a good way to learn many of the small things you might not have stumbled across or would never had considered.

Sorry for the double post, just didn't want to edit an already long [censored] post <.<
'splain me something Julia...

WHY

does a 63 WC and 63 BD box should LFG WOA ?

HOW

did you misread my posts? what part of them describes the bad exp? those places you and Charmille mentioned are good exp spots. and yes they are quite occupied. and yes a lot of people go there DUE to those facts. but ive done most of them and i WILL NOT reccommend them. HS being the exception to the bad exp rule. solo as a Soultaker arcana/acu, wm passive all the good stuff ... still bad exp. impossibly slow.

i mentioned VR = BAD but you missed the point i was making. vr is bad if you want to remain under 30% to do things like RB trio takedowns, or the 5-8x hp mobs in the rift/darkness festivals, or dare go down to Devil's Isle, or into another obscure place like the inside of Archaic Lab (although it would be somewhat silly when youre 68+). you Crit 1 in 2 swings, and VR back 7, 8, 9, 10% dmg to HP. a 1000 dmg (low btw) crit returns minimum 70hp. multiply by 6 swings PER SECOND and buh bye big crit boost.

to takedown an RB in a trio, you need nothing more than two tyrants and a Prophet. its even easier than destro franzy crazy-go-nuts boss farming. and for this i reccommend NM light. 3% is a more balanced VR for that. and SE's or WC's VR would make your HP soar with no way to get it down.

i said bad things to Charmille. and i do not appologize.

my way is not the highway, but Charmille seemed to think i had no knowledge. or that i had no level. hell probly he assumed i never played this class.

Charmille showed me no respect for the last time.

for anyone else reading this, i have always posted what i knew to be correct, up to date information. i enforced what i knew until i could be 100% a) proven incorrect, or b) swayed to think something else. if by that you construe that i enforce false information, well, you just werent trying hard enough or you yourself were wrong to begin with.

julia, Charmille goes and tells people 40-75 in 3 days at FoG. even suggests it as a levelling means. this tells me two things, 1: either charmille actually believes that this is a normal occurrence for everyone, or 2: that charmille was posting information otherwise advertised on Blah. and i know Blah is not very good and enforcing a clean or legit way of playing the game. i did not dismiss it as untrue but i showed the undeniable fallacy of suggesting this to a novice.

i am beginning to have a bit more faith in Tsuki where charmille dropped the ball, but youre gonna have to do better than this to make me believe that an angry, bitter Finnish Military person is actually capable of debate instead of flames.

Like using Dagger on a Destroyer in Frenzy for the mad crit rate, ignoring the fact you're losing 250% in pattk. Arguing about the fact that the only reason for having a dagger on Destroyer is to cut down skill cooldown timers. There's plenty more there why I dont think you have skill or knowledge about the issues you talk.

It has been discussed much here too, but blaiming Blah must always be a win-win for you. There is nothing unlegit in poling and even newbies can join alliances. Even newbies can get invited to pole parties.

i am beginning to have a bit more faith in Tsuki where charmille dropped the ball, but youre gonna have to do better than this to make me believe that an angry, bitter Finnish Military person is actually capable of debate instead of flames.

I'll debate with you after you drop the snide comments and show actual knowledge about the thing you're posting. So, until you can solo/duo most of the said places, we have nothing to discuss since we're worlds apart.

Spud, I will never get how you can be so bloody anti VR with Bison. Its what keeps you alive when fighting anything besides half hp mobs. if your all for pvp you should have buff***** if you have buff***** soloing is the fastest way to get to a nice pvp level and in soloing and groups where you control the buffpet or a have a live healer vr will give you way too much hp back

usually solo duo or trio in pagan or at vraka silenoes if i still play these days and i never take vr if you take vr you regen hp just way to fast with bison on

what really helps to keep up with the incoming damage that you get from multiple mobs is a nm set that way you can regenerate hp but its far less then youd get from vr which is a good thing

oh and i know of a couple tyrants that solo pagans its not that hard really

edit: oh and im in no way defending spudnik since i think hes with no clue wth hes talking about but he happens to be right on the fact that vr is a bad thing for xping with a tyrant

WHY are you using bison if youre staying at 60% ?

for that and your claims hawk is better haw only works wih fists while bison works with a bow and if you use a bow and have decent buffs youll be close enough to 500 critrate (with dracbow 500 critrate is easy anyway)
and depending on the place the drac bow is alot more damage since you also have to run alot less
the drawback on dracbow is that you have to restock more often since you cant go overweight
so better bring a summoner

as for the pvp in plated i did use only plated till a grade but pvping in plated in bgrade levels is a bad idea (i usually won but i was always with sws and they shot him 1st since hes archer main and im dorf as main)
Are you using Fist Fury with Bison? Helps keep the VR in check, especially when you always keep 2 mobs on you. Another thing is to go overweight to reduce or completely stop the natural regen, useful for both staying close to Frenzy and Bison 30%, works only in small spaces like Pagans if you go so overweight as to incurr a speed penalty. I know a few people who aggro a treasure chest to keep them at low HP constantly. The chests dont do much dmg and there's no social mobs coming because of them.

PS. the VR we're talking about in this case is VR2.

i am beginning to have a bit more faith in Tsuki where charmille dropped the ball, but youre gonna have to do better than this to make me believe that an angry, bitter Finnish Military person is actually capable of debate instead of flames.

Spud... only thing you should expect by discussing with people from Tsuki is that they are legit players, protective of clannies and will treat people they meet in game fairly. Other than that, if you wanna discredit what Charmille says because you dislike how he says it - fine. Doesn't make him any less right or make it less idiotic of you to make an assumption on his persona based on posts from a discussion forum.

Skell, good to see another Tyrant posting. Though for the VR vs. No VR I guess Imma have to say this again. Imo going from both sides VR are bad for some tyrants but for others they made it work and is a must in certain situations no matter what. I lvled 68-76 in 30% Bison with no issues with VR as I am sure you didn't have any issues doing them without VR. I adapted how I played to make VR gained HP = Dmg taken, and will most likely find it hard to play without VR at the spots I went to. While for you and Spud it might prove difficult the other way around. Possible to just leave it at that?
alright. i can see how you might have made it work, but ... curiosity gets the better of me here...

WHY would you either a) aggro too many mobs, b) have someone Bleed/Poison you, c) undergear yourself (use B instead of A), or d) get no Shield and regen buffs, in negation of the VR buff? seems a useless buff if you negated its effects. could this slot not have been used in a better way?

good on you to have overcome the VR, but ... seems rather pointless. moreover a testament to the necessity of some sort of healing.

skell - i was hoping the OP might figure out how Hawk worked on his own. but ty for pointing out its ups and downs. just one question - why not use a Crit Damage bow while bisoned seeing the effect of focus 450 vs 500 is negligible at best ?

edited to add C and D
You negate its effects to actually stay at pretty much the same HP, needing no outside heals or pot use. Saves money, makes boxing easier.

Having 22-24 buffslots, PVEing you wont need them all unless you have SwS and BD in party, which is not the case when you solo/duo.

I didn't. I used Tallum with - later on gradually - oeed DG Health Fists and still do (Sg is too **** expensive). Only time I would over aggro would be in B/Z otherwise the mobs took care of the rest (them mainly being Bandersnatch slaves in WoA for 21k a pop)

The B. slaves bleeds which is def. nice but the tallum resisted it most of the time. The mobs were just suitible for it and my playstyle. I had mainly VR 2/3 and would never need to use a pot (besides gsap) and I "powered" through 68-74 with the +++ xp. Had no need to remove any buffs or make myself weak in order for it to work. Never had any inconvience or hardly extra work either because I had VR.

In Varka/Ketras/ToI 11/Pagans/HS it worked the same, the mobs do most of the job and I adjust the way I aggro acordingly. What charmille said was just many of the other ways u can do it.
K I stopped reading around the middle of page 2 since there seems no advice been given anymore just pointing at what others say wrong :s

I'm playing my Tyrant sub now for 3 weeks or something, and I made 66 today (almost at bison, can't wait).

Here is my a grade set up/party/hunting spots

+3/4 DC light set (which works wonderfully, i may be a bit squishy but it's not really a pain, died once after pulling 4 4*mobs)
+3 BT w/ Focus (low crit rate for now, but I know it won't take that much longer)

I partied in witches with OOP lvl 60 SE/PP and an IP necro.
I solo (imo solo is when u'r the only one hitting, not getting heals and the only one getting xp) in VoS again with lvl 60 OOP PP/SE buffs.
Right now I'm in party with 70+ TH and WC (no CoV) in WoA.
All these spots give me pretty good xp, but for me, since I have no healers, I prefer a high killrate then lots of xp from one mob u have to hit for like 30-40 secs.

I have no idea what I will do once i'm 68, prolly go WoA again, noly not sure about the equip, maybe go for a tallum heavy set, not sure yet tho.

Anyway i'm liking the atk spd and patk of the tyrant, I just don't think it's fair to have more patk and atk spd at 52 then I do on my 75 TH main :s
lol spud. if nothing else. 7-9 groups in ketra....lol. i SOLOED my badges in ketra with clan hall buffs from rune. your right about rifts for lvl 5x. great exp. except you can grind anywhere. even crappy exp and your thru b grade in a week. i recommend enchanted valley.

anyways. i am almost 77 and i have been duoing full cata rooms in forbiden path with my wc which just dinged 69 today. i have been in and still am in dc light. cant afford s grade. i have tats set up -1 dex -3 con +4 str. and i have +12 dgs health.
I WOULD USE VR4 IF I COULD no matter where i am grinding. better to have over kill vr and live than get in a tough spot and die. ( the treasure chest idea is awesome. never thought about that before). if you are pvping i recommend light armor. in pvp you are going to be the healer killer and u need to be fast. heavy you will be very slow.

again spud. i have never....i mean never heard of anyone playing a tyrant like you and make it out of b grade. maybe mid a grade. if you are pvping....+health>>>>>>attack speed. i know cause i used to be attack speed based in my set up. if you have oop buffers or clan hall buffs hot springs was nice when i was doind my quest there. i lvled quite a bit SOLO with ch buffs at swamp of screams. that place rox for solo exp and bison. hella fun too.

holla at the real tyrants!!!!
so ding at ya man i just hit 60 today right before i came to work.. posting from work..that says alot bout my job lol... i plan on being 61 before tomorrow morning. Got my DC light maj jewls all unsealed and got my DG +health waiting on me in wh.. but quick question...

I got a pair of +7 bellions risk haste which weps should i use to continue to pve with? +7 bellion only 2 patk behind my +0 DG .. and im really afraid to +4 my DG cuz if they pop i cant afford new ones
+7 bellions rsk haste are nice weapons. i used +6's thru b grade and lvl 64. and, if you cant afford to make your dg's at least +3 then your hurting on adena like i was and you save a lot of adena using b shot. i would say use your bellions. and once your 68 depending on the situation htey might be better with bison.

in pvp a good friend of mine carried a pair of bellions rsk evasion for if he needed to run. rabit + rsk evasion s grade archers had a very hard time hitting him. so. keep that in mind with those bellions.
well, now you know one.
well my main prob in pagan is that apart from when you enter the room i cant have enough mobs aroudn to keep my hp low with vr
else id use vr since it would mean alot less stress
the best thing for vr would be a boss jewel like antharas or zaken if you have one of those you can switch on vr if you get in a thight spot and switch it of if your hp gets too high but i dont have any boss jewels so id have to borrow them

also the going overweight is something i do often and its usually because if i grind i wanna do it for long so i need to be overweight to carry enough ss

and im pretty sure that crit damage weapons add a fixed amount of damage rather then a % amount like the buffs do so with decent buffs and a bow im pretty confident that focus > cirt damage and im not even sure if drac bow has critdamage sa anyway since i only know of focus and crit slow and any other choice wouldnt really make sense (and critslot is only useful in few cases)
