Right, so there are new level 82 armors and weapons as I have seen (wonder what they're gonna call them... S82?) and the way I see it is this:

You can wear S grade from 76, S80 from 80 (obviously) and whatever they'll call it from 82. So this means that if you want top armor and weapon for the current grade you can wear, it means that you have to change them from S grade to S80 after 4 levels, you change to S80 for two levels just to change again at 82 for the next 3 levels. Can you see where I'm going?

This is pretty much ridiculous, no one, but NO ONE will be able to afford this. Changing the armors and weapons this often will be almost imposible, even for a bot (I think) with the current prices for S grade. I'm not saying that I think it's wrong to add these items, but it will make life a LOT harder than it is now, and another point I can't seem to understand is why in the world did they have to create so many grades with such a small difference between the required levels needed to wear them and not stop at S80? You have 3 different grades from 76 to 85, the same number you have from 1 to 56 or 20 to 76 and while I agree that the grade changes should happen more often at higher levels, this seems a bit too much...

Is there a logic behind this that I can't see? And if yes, can someone explain it to me, please?

Thank you!
Plenty of people will be able to afford them since they're the ones grinding in areas where the parts and recipes will drop/spoil/be quest rewards. It will be something the power alliances get first, then the rest. Same as when they introduced S-grade. These days, they're pretty common. S-grade weapons are not that expensive anymore, especially if you craft them yourself and even the armors have come down to reasonable prices. S-grade now, costs the same as A-grade at C3/C4 time, give or take some millions ;)

how long does it take to get from 80 .00 % to 81 .00% ? and how long till 82? who's to say you wont need the new 82+gear? the lvl 85 cap suggests those last 3 levels will push the limits of your engine's calculator if they arent adding weapons for 84, 84.5, and 85
It is deadly just to get to 80... well for me it is deadly just to get to 75..

I wish they wouldn't add more weapons/armors, continues to make Lineage 2 a game based on gear and levels.

If we take the history by this game, every high end game gear is always QUEST, never spoil so, it's still just for DD's.

Say goood bye to that kind of powerleveling in CT1. Chars that are 20 lvls more lover than the highest one in the party gets 0 exp + VR effect with pole is getting nerfed.
I'd kinda think you could sell your S-g to get S-80, then sell it to get S-82, etc.

Assuming you have half a brain, you buy stuff only at a price you can sell it.
So it's not really an expense, just time out from hunting while you wheel-n-deal.

nah, it will just mean 6 days 61-75
xp for 80-81 is the same as 79-80
Because any higher number would break the math behind the game.

Wonder if they fixed that in CT 1.5. I'd assume they would have too heh.
Check the site again, the 82 level was changed to 80, looks like a blunder on the flash site that was noticed after it was published.
yep, the new gear is actually top S80 and not related to lvl82
