actually im going SR. I once had an HE awhile back and loved it. I could 2 shot everyone within 3 lvls of me. had an aawesome OE'd bow lol. but my account got hacked and i lost him. since then HE's have become so popular (theres 5 in my clan) that i want something different. and i like being fast so SR is my choice.
Its just a little disheartening knowing that i wont be able to do the raw damage they do. but even so i know ill be able to hold my own in PVP so im not worried.
first of all your not gnna find a ton of SWS's with that setup. a little expensive, no?
second even if you do get thru the stun you won't be able to last 4 shots MAX! especially if SR is fully buffed!
BTW have either of played SR? i really think only comptetion for SR is another archer, like a PR or HE.

Thats standard setup and Zaken is far from expensive. (Its one of the cheapest boss jewels)

But for you to think that just because i havent reached Agrade on him doesn't mean i don't understand the game and how an SR functions.
If an SWS has a bow its going to have to get a heck of a lot closer to hit the SR. The SWS might have a chance if they are close. But theres no way a SWS could be able to survive all the SR skills (SS,DS,PS repeat) and then stop and get enough shots off to take the SR down.

Truthfully, you have absolutely no clue what your talking about.
sr can [censored] bd/sws with rapidfire i believe... but anyway keeping a melee class at >501 range isnt all that hard with an SR [with a slow bow]. maybe a little harder with song of wind up. anything close to full buffs SR wins. just PP buffs i think SWS might have a chance. arrest, entangle... who knows
With just PP buffs and enough CP pots my SWS (not S-grade) beats equal level archers , even HE. 2x weight limit on dagger helps me carry about as many Cp pots as any HE :P
Hmmm, from my experience it lands around 30-40ish % if they have Mental shield, and more like 95% if they don't. This is sub 76.
You can forget about landing it on people with boss jewels.. though in CT1 you will be able to land it fine if you also have the same boss jewels. That is my assumption, not actually tested it :)
PS. Arrest is a physical skill, so mdef doesn't matter! :)

HE's are trouble though... yeah you have wind, but they can dash away if you get close, its just more CP pot contest like you said.
with the atk speed of bow users, doesnt dash refresh really slow? i mean how many times will he use it? 1?2?
With buffs, including Blessing of Sagittarius which shortens skill reuse time and switching to a dagger before you pop dash, no, the reuse time is very short.

You and Coja were 2 of the first, along with FearMyAnger. You and FMA were 77 with Hamstring Shot pretty fast too.
I want to XP, especially now that Kamael++++ is coming with level 85 restriction. It will be pointless to PVP against people 8 levels above me with the eva/acc boost.. 18 more base than me, yeah right.. UE+hope for dbl shot/leathal shot then :P
Sagittarius need a mobile UD that lasts 5 minutes, and refreshes in 30 seconds to be more effective in PvP. That way the game is more balanced out I think!
And don't forget the skill that consumes 1 d grade crystal that has 90% chance of summoning any epic jewelry you choose from a list.
oh I almost forgot the most important skill of them all. The passive skill that kills everything (players, mobs, RBs epics bosses etc etc etc) around you if they are to close to you (range 1000) with no PK or karma penalty for killing unflagged bypassers...clan/alliance and party members are excluded, you also gain 1m exp/sp per kill and 100m adena.
