I currently have the following on a Necro.
+5 Int -5 Men/+4 Wit - 5 Men
+4 Deamon tunic/stockings/boots/gloves
+3Ghoul's Staff w/ mana up. Augmented +7.5 MAtk +0.1 MP Recov
at lvl 49 with Emp lv 3 buff i have over 1k MAtk.
can any one see something i may have missed to increase the hitting power of this toon.
You might forego the Demon and get yourself some Karmian instead. Demon is only useful if it is consistently saving you a shot on each mob; if it isn't, then you're just casting really slowly for no good reason, especially with that Mana Up weapon. Karmian tends to be, overall, a more useful choice for C grade unless your leveling style especially suits Demon. In most situations you will XP faster using Karmian and an acumen weapon.
If this is just about getting the most m.atk you can, then you've done about all you can do for your level short of overenchanting your weapon or getting some crazy augment.

I use the Deamon as it was letting me one shot mobs that were my lvl. which seemed it was far quicker exp than i would have been able to get with Karmian and an acu weapon as i was having to 2-3 shot stuff.
i was going for max MAtk so i could one shot higher mobs and Exp quickest.
+4 Con - 5 Str (don't waiste adenas for a +4 Con -4 STR)
I had completely forgot about stuff like Con.
as i am one shoting mobs there vary rarely get to hit me.
If all you are concerned with is matk, change your Ghoul Staff at the Blacksmith of Mammon for an Ecliptic Axe or Ecliptic Sword, then apply the Magic Power (Or Empower, I can't remember off-hand which you can put on those) SA. Magic Power adds like 112 matk to your weapon, but costs you 15% extra mp per spell. Empower adds a smaller amount to your matk. The extra mp cost is negligible, especially if you have a recharger in tow, or know how to manage your mp with B2M.
Again, I'd only do this if matk is all you are concerned with. If you know how to manage your MP, I don't think Mana Up is needed. I'm not sure If the difference in damage would be worth the effort, but it will definately make you hit harder.

sorry for being rude, but i think u should reroll.
there is no empower SA, only Magic Power, which gives a set amount of Matk. That means that your matk is always boosted at the same rate no matter what buffs, passives u got.
U said empower gives less than that. how 'bout NO. that will never happen, no matter what setup u have. empower 1 beats all SA's, let emp3.
i dont blame u tho, as u dont have a nuker as a main. just try to be more careful when u give advice to newbies that u r not sure are 100% correct.

The following is copied directly from the update notes for Chronicle 5, from the Official Lineage 2 page (http://www.lineage2.com/news/chronicle5_08.html). I added the categories, and colors, because the text was in a table that didn't copy well:
Ecliptic Sword <-- Item Name
125 / 111 <--PATK/MATK
C <--Grade
2452 <-- Crystal Count
SPECIAL ABILITIES
Greater Empower
(Red)
Magic Power
(Green)
Magic Silence
(Blue)
So, like you said, not to be rude, but if you don't know what you are saying, perhaps you should not correct people. If you need to confirm what I'm saying, take a Top C grade weapon, (Ghoul Staff, Berzerker Blade, SLS, Orcish Pole Axe, or any other Top C....) to the Blacksmith of Mammon, and see for yourself. And, I've been playing L2 since about the middle of C2. I've played a SH and a SpS in that time. I had 7 toons over 40 before I settled on a main. My first toon over 40 was a SH, and I had a Sword of Whispering Death, with Magic Power on him, way back then. I have absolutely no problem being corrected when I am wrong. But, please do your homework before you do. If I'm giving advice, you can almost certainly bet I've done mine.
EDIT: I actually did the homework for you. Here is a compilation of screen shots that I took this morning.
i am wrong. so there is a SA named Empower. just tell me this ; when u were talking about Empower giving less than Magic Power, did u mean the buff or the SA? tbh, i thought u were implying that he doesnt need a SE, just a weapon with Magic Power SA that gives him a higher Matk. i really hope i was wrong to begin with
I really like magic power and as a necro/sh with btm2 it's easy enough to keep MP up. Emp is good for SPS because they don't get MP management. With recharges and herb drops though it's kind of a non issue.
My necro isn't very high or anything and I blew up her weapon anyway but from what I tried I liked :).
Telling people to re-roll because they MIGHT have gotten a spell/sa wrong? Lame. Actually helping ftw >_>
I was referring to the SA, and sorry if I was direct. I'm assuming, maybe incorrectly, that any nuker will have access to the Empower buff, at some level. The OP was asking how to configure his toon to hit harder. Other than tatts, that means weapon. That was why I suggested what I did.
Thank you all for your replies. (even the arguments than inevitably arise from this type of question). i have finally gone for a Ecliptic Sword with Magic power in addition to my original setup.
can hit quite hard and am saving shot by being able to one shot most if not all mobs in my grind spot. infact i think i may have to move on soon. Thank you all again.

Given all the freedoms people have these days, those include freedom for Tattoos and Special Abilities for their weapons.
While as entising as the Empower SA may sound, be free to add that to you weapon, and then also be free to join any non-factor pve-only clan as there should be plenty of. ;)
On the other hand, the Acumen does provide to be a far superior SA in the long term as Superior Casting speed > than any minor increases in total M.atk. The ability to outcast either in actual Nukes, or be the 1st one to Interrupt/Silence/Anchor/Fear the other is priceless.
On the other hand, thanks for trying, yet you fail as a Nuker.
The Empower and Magic Power SA adds the M.atk bonus to your total M.atk. It's not the same thing as getting an Empower Buff or a Dance or a Prophecy for example, which raises your total M.atk by a %. (this % thing is that really kicks [censored]). You will probably even get a far better boost in your DD abilities (and your M.atk %++) with out the Empower SA or Magic Power SA, but just with Berzerk 2.
There may be a cheaper way to add extra M.atk to your total M.atk, and that is though Augmentation. So go go get an extra +M.atk on an augment and go start Pwnzoring people left and right cause of your uber M.atk :p
Good luck and have fun on your nukers and remember kids, when the Nuker fails at his ability, well, there are always dorfs to go back to. That race if very straightward and simple :p

Been and got a MAtk+ Augment but it is minimal so may try again sometime soon.
Uber MAtk to Pwn people was not my intention i am after it to Grind Quicker and help my friends Lvl quicker when they hunt with me.

Thank you for the advice.
Heh, you do realize that I was sarcastic about the M.atk bonus through Augmentation? The results of it are barely noticeable at best.
I once had nearly +30 M.atk on an augment once, so my overall damage increased by about 30 points per nuke
M.atk increases by Augmentation does not seem to work anywhere as good as the + Crit bonus for a melee class/weapon.
Best thing to hope for when Augmenting is to try and get Wild Magic Passive skill.
Yeah, +M.atk on augments is negligible. I don't know why NC even bothered coding that crap in. Even if it were +100 m.atk, a high-level nuker would barely notice the difference (though a non-mystic class with magic skills, like SK or SB, might appreciate it). +14? +30? Ridiculous.
