It will be closed and i feel the shame on me already.
Had the idea reading this in CT1 forum :
I don't know about you, but I would rather wait 1 year to gegt CT1 on the Live servers if that is what is needed for NCNA to solve all the bugs in game.
I am tired of patches that has been released to early or without even being tested that is blocking almost 50% of the legit L2 players out of the game because of crit errors, gameguard crash, sudden incompability with some OS etc etc etc....
Why not implement a patch (random and secret time) that will for sure make every legit player crash and unable to log back for an hour or two (i know NCNA can do that :p )
Who will be online still after that ?.... AUtomated player.
Ban !
I have a far simpler solution: Have a live GM who is familiar with the game walk around and ban on sight. We all know who the bots are - and if some of us don't/ maybe/ if/ not sure/can't tell, well, just banning the obvious ones would be a good start.
I wish "obvious" would hold water in real life :|.
But your honor, it was OBVIOUS!!!! :(
For real, I don't believe there is ANY solution to this issue.
Meh, kudos for trying.

Then I would be banned too, along with A LOT of other legit players that don't use the UPDATER before starting the game every time. I only run it if I remember on a tuesday..
(For the morons, you can start the game directly from the .exe in the systems folder)
(For the curious, the reason for doing that is to start the game in lower priority mode, makes stuff in the background run better especially along with several L2 clients for buff pets)
Thread /fail
I'm pretty sure they can see who uses a bot program anyways. Though there are some things they can't detect, unfortunately..

But .. +1 for originality too :)
This only will force the bot owners to spend more time on names and creating clans. Last days I rarely see names like sdjksdsg and such. If the bot owner creates a clan and brings it to lvl 3 this will give clan crest and titles so the bots will be almost impossible to distinguish on quick sight.
