Okie recently got my SPS to lv 52 , I currently use +6 Homu Acumen and each BSPS shot costs roughly 345a(cause it uses 3) . The homu has 128 MAtk mentioned on it and a Sword of Vallah (i think top B Grade matk sword) at +0 has 126 MAtk and each bsps shot would cost 350a roughly.
So my question is do I spend the 3 mil diffrence to upgrade or not and reason I ask I don't know that if i equip the new sword would my matk go up or down cause someone told me 'Weapon mastery' gives you higher boosts on higher grade weapons so if all and all is equal a B grade gives you more boost than C grade.
I'm poor so I used a +6 Homu until level 70 on my SpS. And tbh, I was expecting a HUGE difference once I got the SoM (which was a +4, btw) but it was actually much smaller than I anticipated. I was kind of disappointed (though I wouldn't go back. :p)
Actually, the Wizard Tear is Top B mage weapon, and has Acumen as an available SA. But, like the rest of the replies, I would just use the Homon you have until A grade, and get a SoM. The shots may cost a bit more for now, but a B grade weapon is 40-70M, on Lionna. You can buy a -lot- of C grade shots for that much money, and you prolly won't be in B grade that long anyhow.
The only -real- difference I think matters is that B grade weapons only use 1 shot, which means you can hunt for 3 times as long before you have to restock. But, again, you shouldn't be in B grade long enough to merit the money you'll spend, imo.
I would also agree with all the posts thus far. I opted for a SoV myself, which I +'d up to +6, when I was lvling my sps through b-grade. But for those tight on adena a highly +'d Homu works very well up to 6x.
A small note: hunt 3 times more based on the number of consumed shots, but a bssb has 30% less weight then a bssc so around 30% more time hunting from there too. (weight 2 instead of 3 per shot)
So a total of 230% increase in time spent hunting without having to resupply on shots :D.
This applies for ssb but i would assume it's the case for bssb also, correct me if I'm wrong.
Your numbers may be correct but it still doesn't make up for the cost of going from a Homu to a Wiz tear or Sov to a SOM. Hell I didnt even buy one piece of B grade gear. No armor jewelry or wep. IMO there is no B grade worth the adena when you can blow through B grade a nuker.
If it would have been up to me. I would have made B grade from 52 to 70 and A grade 70-80 S grade 80+. But thats not what they did. Of course stats would need a little adjustments on stuff but would have worked. Sure some classes benefit from B grade gear but I would bet most if not all classes could go all through B grade with C grade gear.
