Link in recruitment tried to install a virus ...?

Clan Recruitment Hall->Kain Server->Death Note site.

I was just checking things out, clicked the link, then AVG popped up saying a virus has been detected :/

It's in the official Kain server hall at the top (the one alyra made for kain) I just clicked the like for Death Note and all of the sudded an AVG warning popped up saying "virus detected." I never, or very rarely go to any sites that could harm my comp. In fact, this is the first virus warning ive ever gotten lol.

I just get "Cannot create DirectShow player" error message. But rest of the site seems OK, NOD32 is not complaining.

might be a false alarm since i'm pretty sure my anti virus would pick it up
i guess i could decompile their sws but since GG apparently won't let me run installers i'll hold out until i hear someone else complain

I cannot tell whether it's a true virus or not, but it did make my browser hard lock. I've removed it to err on the cautious side and will re-add a link for that clan once I've had a chance to speak with them.
