Tried with both a converted PTS and with my Live version. I get the message "Your connection to the update server has been terminated" and the text at the bottom of the updater says "connection failure"
The servers have been down for 3.5 hours, typically by this time we can start updating our version. And yes i know that it won't be done for several more hours but that doesn't change the fact that you can usually start updating shortly after the servers go down so that it's updated in time for the servers to turn on.
No, if you want to have updated in time you should convert the PTS client back to the live client and wait for the update servers to do the rest not update the entire client while everybody else is doing it too.
I'm just saying that always before you've been able to update right away.
Thats what I thought to. I use to always start these updates on my way out the door for work. This morning I was unable to. Maybe my wife will be able to get it started for me on her lunch break.
Dosen't matter what we have done before, etc. They said it will be down for 8 hours. Unless its been past those 8 hours, and we're still not up and running no one has any reason to [censored]. So far they have been holding up their end of the bargin, minus the whole 'Info will be available, etc etc etc'
Patience People, although NCSoft did tell everyone to hook up with teh PTS, or download the client so when it goes live people can get right into it, so frankly they did give everyone a heads-up weeks ago and an alternate way to be ready for CT1, its only your fault for failing to do so.
Ok, since reading comprehension is not your strong point, I KNOW it will be down for 8 hours. That has no bearing whatsoever on when they will put the update server up. None at all, so stop using that as a justification for the stop using that as a reason. And if you bothered to read you'd see that i have a full pts already and tried using both the pts conversion AND the old live to update.
