I know the dowloads take a long time and everything, and I'm not trying to sound impatient, but it seems like alot of you have the game updated already and I'm wondering if any did it through the updater (without having played on PTS)?
I never did try the PTS and am just updating through the normal client, but it seems like I'm re-downloading the whole game, not just the update. Is this normal = download time over 2 hours and not even 1/4 of the way through?
Is it too much to ask for them to have put up the Advanced Download like Yesterday? (ie Dec 11/07) The Fileplanet one? (3.72GB) Instead of at 8amCST when the servers were brought down?
That way we could have downloaded it and had it ready to go.. oh well... live and learn :( Kicking myself for deleting the PTS 1 week ago...
It's so worth it, to download the PTS, even if you aren't going to play on it. Just to avoid the long [censored] download when a new expansion is launched.
haha yea, i will get the pts next time for sure. as it stands now, im not even at the 2007 (bottom of updater) But am a Cat with bow Golf Pro so its cool. lol
I've always used the update installer for each one (cause I'm chicken to try new things).
I'm almost done and it will have taken me about 3.5 hours with a fair cable internet connection.
This is pretty typical for me on the bigger chronicle releases.
