Please post your recomendations for best 2 man classes
we wantto be strong in pvp together BUT we dont want to have to go outside our 2 man to party at least till we get into general lv populace. and if that wasnt restricting aenough we both dont want to do the healbot thing.
You do need at least one buffer between you to perform decently.
Mages: SH/Necro/SpS + SE/EE.
PvE<<SH - Necro - SpS >>PvP
PvE<<SE - EE>>PvP
PvE setups (those with SE or SH etc) are cheaper to level up and more effective against mobs. PvP setups (Necro+EE, SpS+EE) are more costly to level. You can go 2x SH/Necro (you don`t need SE if you buy EMP scrolls, you need lesser recharges if you can use lots of cursed bones and mp elixirs etc), but exp will cost you really a lot.
Archers:
Hawkeye/PR+PP.
Melee:
Tyrant/Destroyer/Gladi/Bladedancer+Warcryer.
Dagger type+Warcryer maybe (dunno about those, never had a dagger toon).
If i put skills int o my buffs as a mage would that be enough of buffing? just because neither of us really enjoy playing main support classes.

You always are going to need a support class to lvl fast, the game is designed that way. The least passive supportclass would be a Warcryer (WC) I guess, as the WC still can pack a punch on his own.
Or just do what most people do: buy an extra account and use this as a buffer and 2box it (you can run two instances of Lineage2 at the same time on most computers).
If you're going to be melee then don't leave town without a BD imo. My gf and I often duo a BD/Tyrant and it's very fast. Mind you, we do drag a buffer or two with us.
I like BDs so much that we rolled a second one just to use for levelling alts. It's now 71.....again. ;)
Extra account dualbox? - PP for Hawkeye, SE for Spellhowler.
If you two rolling hawkeye AND spellhowler (worst case imo, should have chosen similar classes for most effectiveness) i`d suggest SE. It`s not the overall best and you`ll have to use both magic haste and patack haste potions... but SE has all basic buffs, emp and recharge for SH. I`d like to state once again that SH+Hawkeye combo probably won`t work even with dualboxed buffer.
PS:
SpS - spellsinger, elven mage caster.
EE - elven elder, elven support healer/recharger.
Surprised nobody mentioned Warcryer and Overlord duo.
Dont say it sucks unless you have tried it. and you can take any third class for a third and do a cat/necro party. Of course the 3rd would have to be in clan to get the extra buffs/heals
