Critt Power

I use the Book of giants on my passive Critt Chance after ct1 hit and it gives you lvl 1 Critt power I'm going for lvl 2 next :) my critt are a lot better now I solo the Angles at WOA with little effort now with vr

lmao its not power. its chance to crt.

its power as the named it.

but the skill is still crt chance.

all it does is increase your crt chance.

IE: crt chance +2 = 177 crt rate with a AS. +0 = 175 crt rate. thats with out focus, or focus dagger.

And given that I'm hero WR on PTS I've tested this extensively enough to know what I'm saying is true. Maybe if there was more people willing to test out their class, then they to would know what I know.

Keep your status window up when you o/e the skill so you can see what happens. Watch the crt rate stat. Go o/e your skill to +2/+3. Then come back and affirm that I'm right!

cat buff, hunter, focus, and my naga storm has be at max crt. (+10.4 aug.)

If I didn't get critt power and I know I didn't get critt rate (it was 261 before I + it and it's still 261) what did I get with my SP I just spent. (the book was free from quest)

its how translation works.

your trying to read things as face value and not understand the play on words.

the skill is called: critical chance.

the power boost is: critical power.

the effect is it boost the power of the skill critical chance.

IE: increases crt rate.

there is no crt dmg boost. cause the skill has nothing to do with crt dmg, only crt rate.

just look at their test notes. horrible translation.

So will going +2 or more be a good thing or waste of my sp if I want to critt more

I need this because even thou i'm 77 my 66 Black wolf still pulls argo when I use beast shots.

He Tanks good when I'm on my sub but the Mobs I fight hit 2 hard for him to tank

I don't know much about +++ your skills at all so I need help :(

Ashley, there are many skill OEs that give you nothing until certain levels of OE. For example, Sprint OEd for increased dodge: need +2 to get +1 evasion, then need +7 or 8 (i forget) to get +2 evasion.

Crit chance is one of those. With my particular gear and tatoos I got only +1 crit after OEing my crit chance to +3. So yes, IMHO it is a total waste of XP/SP to OE this skill *at the moment*. (They might boost the effect in a later patch, who knows.) It is also possible that the effect gets way better if you go up to high OE like +10 or more, but, looking at all the other OE effects out there, the increases are usually pretty linear.

Check the skill enchant section of this page: http://lineage2.stratics.com/wiki/Main_Page#Lineage_2_Game_Data ,to get an idea of how small most OE effects really are.

By the way, if you want to hold aggro more (and you haven't already got them), try +5 Str (-Con) tatoos and use either DC or Draconic. Str helps LEs less than others but it still helps a lot.

Just a note, I dunno if you know this: After you OE a skill, you don't need an additional book to OE it to the next plus. Basically: For Stun shot +1 you will need 1 one book. You will not need a book unless you break your OE. So, you keep OE and it breaks at +5, you will need an additional book to start over. Just incase you thought you needed to stock up on OE books.
