isle of prayer

ok, this a place for solo, perhaps duo, but there is something i didn't anderstood : at Chromatic Highlands (northern of the isle) there is a mob (in fact i just had time to try 1 mob) named Dark Water Dragon.
I hit it, and 3 or 4 Shadows (same mob but named "Shadow") appeared. the mob hit me for 2k and shadow for 1k...
i was full buffs, with full IC set +3 and i just had time to bsoe before death...
How can it be possible to kill this mobs by solo, even with duo? Or is it like Darkness room at pagan where we can do a real full party instead of 5 ppl party before darkness room : solo/duo everywhere on isle of prayer, and full party at Chromatic Highlands?
any idea?

yeah, 3k xp per mob in full party is really nice too..

The point of going there with a full party has nothing to do with exp. You can solo there if you just stay away from the dragons they have another purpose.

make him find out for himself!

i know the island is for quests and stuff, but they could make the mobs give better xp than they do. Even soloing there on 80+ mobs its about the same xp per mob as FOTD.

it's not a bad solo place, especially if you have an oop buffer.

not so great for sps since almost every mob on the island is water resist :(

that's true, the sorcs in our clan are giddy as school girls though.

Too bad the mobs aren't weak to fire.

I think the caster ones are but that's about it.
