I could rant about it in the way it most likely it is being done but that will be a ban on my account.
All I know att it that I have to work for my relaxation within this game which contradicts itself in trying to get that.
I will probably spent hours in that theme-park I guess when it becomes available as that might be the only part of this game that gives some satisfaction.
For now I will goof around on my Kamael as this toon is a lowbie and therefor free of frustration.
I remember when the WoW expansion was released it was just a mad dash to see who, on the Horde side, could level some Paladins the fastest. It wasn't just bragging rights, Paladins were/are absolute BEASTS when it comes to raiding. It will be interesting to see if high end Kamael change how clans do things(party structure, raiding, PVP).
And yes Think, staying perma-lowbie means not having to sweat the [censored] that happens past level 52. Noob FTW.
noob means you got a real life i guess a crap load of us are noobs.
I really wish I had an extra 60 bucks a month to run 5 accounts a vent a clan and have a level 80/80/80 toon but unfortunately for us people who have real jobs, going for our master's or higher degrees, and family this is just A GAME.
Some people really forget this is a game not a friggen job, I play this game to relax not to break a sweat. I know I am probably more skilled then people who ebay bot or play 24/7 but I just don't have the hours in the day to play at that level.
So yes all us people who treat this as a game and not lifestyle are noobs I guess.

Everyone has different priorities Sly...worrying about others shouldn't be yours. I've seen a lot of people post with comments like yours in a wide variety of games and it makes me wonder why people let a game get to them. If people have a higher level toon with shiny gear I don't get bent out of shape, make assumptions about who they are and what they do, then slam them.
Because of my career choices and other commitments I'll never make it to the end-game in L2. I'm okay with that. It is, after all, just a game. ;)

My point was you aren't a noob just because you aren't uber level in a uber amount of time, people who do lack real life commitments. You cannot play l2 professionaly unless you count farmers it is not like you win a trophy for being number 1 in l2 and $50,000 like you would in like Halo 3 or COD4. This game was pretty much designed wrong and it encourages cheating because there are a minority of people in NA/Euro market that play like people in Korea do. Our way of playing is more akin to CoH/COV and WOW where it can require some effort but we like to get to the fun part sooner or later. Adding more levels past 80 was the wrong thing to do and is going end up totally unbalancing the game because very few people even get to 80 never mind 85.
Thats just my point a noob has nothing to do with level just because your 78 you can be a noob if you just bought the account, I know this game in and out but I'll probably never be a hero because ive been waiting almost 8 months to sub now.

Please post this where it belong..
I think L2blah is the place for that.
If I am a noob in your definition of the game then you are the noob matters beyond this game.
Comments like yours are mostly no-brainers. It shows you lack the ability to envision what may go on in real life behind a screen somewhere other then that of ours.
You see this as just "a game" but you fail to see that others may look at it in a different manor. Some folks like me value the time they have put into the game as time committed to a personal goal. Some even come to this game to relax in their way.
An ex-CM once stated that developing a character within this game could be seen as seeing a pet grow up.
I guess I think like he did.
Anyway this topic is about Kamael advancement and I stated just that with a comment that we can expect a hero pretty soon.

I could not agree more, but we live in a World of "is", not "should be". This is NCSoft's game. They are running it how they see fit and as they have it structured the end-game is incompatible with my plans. Them's the breaks.
The way the game was run back in 2004 was enough to make me quit and it hasn't really changed on a fundamental level since then. This time I am here just to have fun being a nobody chatting with a friend of me while I kill some Elpys if I feel up to it. I'm okay with that. It's up to everyone else to figure out what they like about the game if it that's enough to keep them playing. That's their business and it's not for me to judge.
If anyone wants to talk about lifestyle choices I can toe to toe with anyone it just won't be about L2. I like Grape PEZ and that's makes me a superior person when compared to all of you. ALL OF YOU!

Shall we leave it at that?
kkthnx
I was referring to myself as a noob, and making a case for that as a viable playstyle. I was agreeing with you.

Which illicited...

Unless you have been able to alter your DNA you will always be human with its imperfections. In other words you will never be superior.
Stating you are superior is therefor a disillusion best kept on your own mind.
And I had my coffee, it tasted good. Want some?
My Kamael btw for the sack of this threat is a warder.
I got to name her. Does that count? End of the year projects make it almost impossible to enjoy the holidays, let alone level a toon. I probably won't get around to seriously leveling until January.
About 4-5 hours and level 17. That's the time I could give it this week-end. I assume those who have more time in their hands can already be high.
But saying they have no life or they need to get laid is pure jealousy and it is ridiculous. Don't seek excuse for being low level, don't seek any pride in it. If you don't have the time to play L2, that doesn't make you a winner at life.
if you play l2 20 hours a day like some people that makes you a winner right?
And i can go from 1 - 20 in 180 minutes give or take. So does that make me a winner?
Some the highest legit players play l2 16 - 20 hours straight 3 or 4 days a week. Thats not jealousy that is someone seriously needs to find a real life.
no one's life is interesting if they sit in front of computer 20 hours a day playing a video game. People who do that wind up getting things like fired, evicted, divorced, and thrown out of school.
Or maybe you want to look like the guy from South Park WoW cartoon but most of us don't lol
Perhaps you should try it first. I work perhaps more than 3/4 of the L2 NA population. I still dont go judging people who want to play all day, every day. That is their life, not mine. They can spend their time as they choose as long as it is not hurting me.
How did this get into a flaming match against SlyCutter? I thought it was about Kamael levels lol. Regardless of who plays l2 more and who doesn't people are different and they will do different things with their life....
But anyways! My Kamael is 6...cause that's the required lvl for a free weapon :)
Got mine to 25, got his furry companion to 23 (he outlevels it quite fast)
Using a converted Titan Sword +8 (just +'sed it tonight) and my old Salamander Skin that sob can solo 2 big rooms in NoS with just his newbie buffs and his wolf. I'd spend alot more time leveling him but my BH is so **** close to 60... :p
This logic simply cannot be questioned. The amount of truth contained within this post is bound to make the religous among us feel like they have been drawn even closer into the bosom of a divine power. Those that have not heretofore been touched by the spark will claim to have seen the face of a power which cannot be described.
I had room on my SB shop a/c. So I made a female Kamael on that. Got to 13 in about an hour or so then lagged out. Came back and shes 15 or 16. Not bothered since. The new interface has spoilt my enjoyment of the game. The last couple of days I have logged on an old 2D game I used to play.
Levelling a new toon can be fun but the new interface with poor font, zooming viewpoint, different shortcut icons and laggy connection is spoiling what was me a great chance of escapism.
Why change what's not broke ? As the saying goes.
