Okay, so the last I heard of pets was in 2004. Are they still a complete nightmare to level up? Do they gain a level for every 50 levels a character gets (assuming you level up along side them, rather than let them do all of the damage to low level mobs)?
Haven't found much on the forums. Not sure if it is worth my while to go and try to level up a wolf alongside me.
