Death Mark

Heya, bit of a noobie question. But was just wondering what this skill actually does..
The Death Mark and ofcourse Erase Mark.. I don't see how that helps me fight
Daneo
Oh boy, it helps, and how.
It lowers pdef and mdef and it also damages the target over time (DOT). I noticed it has a very high land rate, lands almost all the time on mobs 6-7 levels higher (they might nerf this or the mark's effect... as they always do...).
I say it's very usefull. And Soul Breaker gets further levels after 40.
Also, erase mark is usefull for removing this from yourself or a friendly target (in pvp i guess)

Also when casting death mark you can use on that target, as a soul breaker, the skill Checkmate (very high powered rapier skill), a lvl 52 and above skill. (Thanks Ashley)
Someone was saying on another forum that Death Mark has a very low land rate, i've tested it and i can say it's 'ok' at least on mobs.. i think the skills has probs at PvP,casting surrender to the unholy seems to help with the land rate allot.
Awkward, it almost always lands for me, at lvl 29, on lvl 35 mobs in Heretics . I haven't made a statistic so I can't say exactly.
Checkmate is 52
Oops, you're right :o.
Once u have the skill checkmate you will love Deathmark :)
Get some bsps and put them on auto-consume (and normal shots at the same time) the bsps will only consume on casting deathmark and I noticed about 75% or so succesful rate on landing them, and yeah checkmate is sweet when that happens, especially because it can Overhit as well. I got 3800 damage fully buffed on mobs already :p
macro

use blessed spirit shots

/useskill death mark

/useskill checkmate
Well that's what I'm saying with auto-use, they'll only get used on deathmark, so it's not even needed to macro :)
What if you nuke nuke nuke like i do? :p
Anyway death mark is sweet.

Ah yeah guess that's one way to do it :) I don't have spread wing myself, so I have no clue how that particular skill works yet. I mainly use triple trust for overhitting. Deathmark/Checkmate when it's up. And the normal nuke to pull mobs of rocks or from other aggro mob packs and stuff.
Spread wings hit everything in a direct 6:00 direction for a certain amount of damage decent damage though but mostly used for trying to attack while running or dealing with mobs in front and behind you
