Is there any way to speed up the deletion process, i want to start a new character but i dont really have the patience to wait 7 days, and i do not have any slots left.
Haha yeah I hear you , they should make it like 1 day. Seriously I been waiting forever to start a cleric->bishop but still a day left and I am bored of all my chars just stop playing for time being.
no way 7 days is plenty its bloody annoying enough with bots spamming pms for adena sales as it is make the deletion process take 1 month imo then there would be less hassle from bots and would make players really choose their toons more carefully upon creation imo
You get your account hacked. It's weekend so Support wont help you. Now, with 7 days for deletion, you might recover your toons atleast.. Lets change it to 1 day. Poof, all you recover is totally _empty_ account.
true this is why they should chat ban them for 7 days if caught spamming pms instead of deletion then they force the botters to delete their own toons which takes them 1 month to delete and watch them go off the idea of doing the pm spams in first place lol
Perhaps a solution would be to give people an option inside the playNC my account to select faster deletion speeds then its your decision. Have the selection take 2 weeks to come into effect; that way if you have it selected as faster deletion speed its your fault if you get hacked... but in the other sense if you do get hacked its still going to be 2 weeks before the fast deletion process could be done.

Honestly I do not find the 7-day period to be too much, and find it very easy to work around. I have a spot cleared for each transfer I might do (if they ever actually come) and had room for kamaels before CT launched. Just plan ahead.
In the event you didn't plan ahead, it's not that big of a deal to wait. 7 days in a game where it takes literally months of /play time isn't much.
It's likely that my cousins will want to try out a Kamael this week during Xmas - I'll just point them to one of the other 9 servers if they do. If it's just for messing around the server doesn't really matter.
they should give us the 2 extra Avatar slots, that L2 KoreaClient got with the CT1 update = no delete of old chars needed anymore

Would have been nice to be able to create up to 2 new Kamaels on my full accounts instead of having to do a server transfer to keep from deleting one......oh wait, cant do that either account services havent been made available yet :(
On a very basic level, any game that contains even a small amount of free for all PvP, should have a long duration for character deletion. This may, or may not be the reasoning, but it works fairly well. If it was instant deletion, those newbie red griefers that have been neutered to oblivion by being killed so much, would just delete/reroll, with no down time. In that sense, I like the 7-day wait.
If our Asian friends did, in fact, receive two more character slots for this update, it's rediculous we have not; not that I need it, but on principal it makes no sense at all.
