Was looking forward to this update, and playing an Arbalester. I understand we get skills to summon bolts. I understand, we can trade with Mammon, if we waste time tracking him down, to trade with him.
What I don't understand, is why Dorfs can't craft bolts.
Was any light shed on this at all during beta of the Chronicle?
Also, can Dorfs craft any of our gear, like Kamael weapons?

Blackmarketeer mammon trades normal arrows for bolts i think, so u dont need to go look for him as he in town :) There are some SB for bolts, i had the S grade 1 yesterday but i dont play a kamel so have no idea why u need a SB unless its the same as HE skill.
Dwarves do not need to learn how to craft any new items. Kamael's will convert the standard weapons and exchange arrows for bolts at the black marketeer.

In Dion, it is behind the wall by the Olympiad manager, towards the Kamael guild.
In Giran, down the stairs directly behind Gabrielle.

Adding spoils for the kamael weapons would have been nice. B Grade swords were hard enough to get before half the server wanted one for their SB.

Yeah b-grade was the real *censored* to get. Would've been nice if they had introduced some extra's from that grade at least. Or alternatives. I'm sure ppl without a rich main are gonna have issues equipping their char when they reach 52+
I know I paid way too much for mine, and I risked OE-ing it...nothing like living on the edge ;)
On the other hand if there had been Kamael-only weapons introduced as a normal drop, we'd have seen them go for huge prices as well, since they'd be rare at the start etc. So I think this was still a better solution.
At what cost? 1a/arrow? And then buy bolts for 3a? And You need 2 bolts to cover the same dmg as 1 arrow does. (approximately)

2.5k SSD and 1k bolts used in only one 33lv raid. While archer spent half of that count in arrows for the same count in SS.

You're better off buying a C grade weapon early on, or upgrading your C grade weapon when you get to that point. A dama might cost you 60 mil on it's own easily enough depending on your server and such, while you can get a +8 SLS for 40ish...
I know the desire is always to push for the best gear available as soon as it's available...but once you actually get into A grade you'll be there a LONG time, B grade I tend to skip entirely unless I skipped C grade....you can buy +16 D grade weapons for 100 mil or so...and use it from 20 to 61 fairly easily as well...
I guess my piont is that there are a lot of ways to make due with a lot of things without buying B grade swords...although with all the duals that require them and the rarity of them before, AND the fact that there are so many 52ish SB's running around does make having a dama something of a luxury, which is too bad...

Then since you are so smart try to sell the arrows double the shop cost. I told you to sell them back the same price you paid for it, what is stupid exactly besides your reply?

you say you need 2 bolts for do the same damage with one archer.. did u ever consider that one archer actually uses his mp for shoot but one arbalester no? Isnt that a big deal?
And about the equipment it is the same hard to equip one A grade kamael as hard to equip one A grade toon that uses sword/bow/twohanded sword. Better than have to farm materials/blades/staves/recipes for kamael weapons...
