Kamaels : Battle Manuals - Did you notice ?

Why do Kamaels need a Battle Manual for almost ALL skills, even physical skills ?
I didnt pay attention so far but while hunting for Battle Manuals today i thought : "omg i spent most of my time hunting for Battle Manuals than anything else"

My toon is lvl 50 ATM and i had to drop :
Battle Manual : Binding Trap
Battle Manual : Bleeding Shot
Battle Manual : Create Special Bolt
Battle Manual : Dark Weapon
Battle Manual : Decoy
Battle Manual : Life to Soul
Battle Manual : Poison Trap
Battle Manual : Real Target
Battle Manual : Rising Shot
Battle Manual : Shift Target
Battle Manual : Temptation
Battle Manual : Twin Shot
Battle Manual : Ultimate Escape
and others im sure i forgot..

Hunting for those isnt a problem, but i was wondering why do Kamaels have to get Battle Manuals for each skills, when other classes dont have to ? (Ex : Stun shot, Power Smash etc etc etc)
Kamael's aren't as smart as other races?

Why do Kamaels need a Battle Manual for almost ALL skills, even physical skills ?

To make up for how easy their class change quests are? :)

I'll second that. Just hope their 3rd class change is a right nightmare.
yea... no whining, unless you have done the 2nd class change quest for dorfs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a spreadsheet that I made to help people out to do them all at the same time - I still would rather try to /wrists with a rusty knife instead of the quests, but it does help.
To the OP:
I read some years ago that there was a new team of management at Ford. They wanted to make their own mark on Ford, so they were busy designing a new set of cars that would be "theirs", and they were planning to phase out much of the current line-up (current at that time). This included their better-selling cars, like the Taurus. The point of their plans had nothing to do with sales, they just wanted to leave their mark on the world.
I fear somewhat the same is happening with L2.
Well, mages have had to farm spellbooks for all of their skills. Seems someone is pretty spoiled, that they think this is an imposition on them!!! All those buffs you get, all those heals you get, all those debuffs, each one of them requires a spellbook. Welcome to the mystical world of L2!!!!
Would you be happy to post-actively have to go hunting for spellbooks for all your masteries and other passives?

This is pretty much the same thing. Silly, really.
Does this mean all Kamael skills benefit from acumen?
It seems that it should. Mine is only 36, but for the dark attacks it uses bsps, and the casting speed is kinda slow, so I'd say yes. I should get some acu pots and see the difference.
Already farming the 55 and 60 battlemanuals and they are pretty ******ed in droprate and also the fact they drop from group mobs...
Ahh so now I understand the crazy behavior of some camels.

most Carmel skills are magic. a FEW are physical.
Hrm so silence is a weakness.
silence is a crippler. low Men helps.
Every debuff, abnormal state debuff, and anything that has tons of hp and or lethal attacks will own Kamael although this is rather sad

A level 32 Dragoon with no souls killing a 40+ DA using pather

How on earth did that happen??? I shocked myself it's amazing how bad he degraded DA's with that... just killing him made me unsatisfied and embaressed I might have to augment my weapon now for it's time to rack up pks :(
I was testing out SB skills in arena the other day, and I guess it's because I was up against ppl 5-15 lvls higher then me...but I couldn't make a dent in any opponent. It's a bit pathetic to have triple trust do 320 damage to a dc-robe wearing class, or 500 with the other attack (name eludes me for a second)

Best I managed was around 850 with checkmate, I was lvl 55 at the time, that seems rather poor for lack of phrasing. PvE seems fine, PvP SB's seem to be lacking. Could just be me, I didn't test out the Spread wing thing yet, nor did I try to nuke with selfbuffing Soul to Empower for the simple reasons listed above.

It's a bit too much that every single skill, self-buff or otherwise needs a book.

Also I'm pve-kitted. Doom light set +4 str -4 con tattoos (tho I'm thinking maybe other tattoos might work better not sure) and a +4 converted dama with focus. That's another thing that bothers me with all that -con I'm sitting at insanely low hp. Ah well time to go hunting for the 58+ books >.<

QQ more!!! I'm gonna keep laughing about this particular whine for a while, I think.

against a soulbreaker silence is only half effective, becuase they then are a dagger class, they may miss out on some of their most effective skills but still not gonna slow them down or make them useless.

I wasnt whinning. That was just a " did you notice ?" thread...
Wow, didn't know soulbreaker was so low dmg. I recently tested the lvl 60 skill on Ghost Hunter in drac. And did about 800 or more dmg. On same lvl chars I do over 1k dmg.

And the land rate of disarm seems kinda broken too, I once landed it 7/10 on a lvl 76+ sorc. Seems pdef helps against it tho, coz tanks are hard to disarm. **** funny when bot protectors dont realize they are disarmed.

Can't wait to put on DC light and see even faster atk speed on my zerker :)
maybe it has something to do with "original sin" the same reason they can only wear light armor.

maybe there is some back story that explains it. maybe not.
but i wouldnt put it past NCSoft to have a storyline hidden somewhere in this 1st person shooter .. err MMORPG.
I wonder what it would be like if you could disarm whites it would be so simple and easy to kill bots
Well I managed to get manuals of silence and bind shadows (farmers helped me out with one of those manuals for free x_x don't ask I guess)

And those 2 are really peculiar. Basically the SB uses the skill and for the duration of 15 seconds they are linked with their target. SB can't use any skills/etc for the duration of it.

Shadow bind is a root. Silence is what it says a silence. The main difference with other roots/silence effects is that it's a 100% guaranteed land rate. It was **** funny to root a hero GH for the duration without him being able to anything against it. Me being 20 lvls lower.

I haven't tested either skills on raid bosses, but hearsay is that it's 100% land rate on raid bosses too. Probably has its uses :o Gonna try blink in a bit.
Omg Valakas is rooted O.O

Not for Zerkers, Spud. I used to get silenced all the time in GoE. I laughed. All my buffs and debuffs are active skills ;) So yeah, even if someone silences me, I can still disarm, use the pdef and cast speed debuff, the rushes, the skills, everything ;)

Soulbreakers get it worse, since death mark and all their nukes are magic, so you can't use those.
