boo on the VR

ok. I used to be able to do 4 aggro mobs then the other 4 mobs in forbidden path. on my second account is a 60 pp and 64 se. i have +4 str -4 con. i used to use a level 80 fuffalo for extra healings and a never ending stream of reg heal pots.

can't do that no mo.

if i add a +4 dex -4 con tat, and put on that pole guidance buff, will i be able to go back to old "speed" (haha) of leveling. will a oe tallum glaive help with more crit rate. i think if i increase the crit rate, i might be able to survive. or will i have to try and get an additional vr augment or something.
unfortunalty i doubt it. i use to do AoE in IT, even with full buffs (cov, BD, SwS and resists) i need a live healer to stay alive. even with jsut around 8-10 mobs on me.
before this nerf i used to be able to, with the same setup, pull like 30-40 mobs in FoG without healer.

best bet would be to get a BD or sws to help you or make a healer friend. another thing you might want to check if any resist buffs would help you take less damage.

remember less damage taken > more damage done when you AoE with VR.
Like Xalya said i doubt you'll be able to. And the Guidance buff for poles drains your MP to 0 in about 30secs.

Dance of Vampire Helps ALOT, but i doubt you'll be able to do it without a healer ie : Bishop or EE - NOT an SE.

And the crit Rate on a Halberd and T Glaive is the same.

And reducing CON makes your HP even lower and the extra Crit Rate and Atk Spd isnt worth it I dont think, well on Dwarves at least.
welcome aboard nerf express...next stop dwarven village
I still pole my WS.

I use a +4 opa at 58.

the trick is to have a live healer, EE or Bishop. Its nice to have a BD, not sure how well a sws would be.

the atk speed, crt dmg, and P atk you get from the dances.

the trick you need to have VR3. if you get PoWind, and vr dance you will be fine.

idk whats good with gear tho, like I said I'm using a opa +4, and +3 BW set. I have +3 str - 3 con.
yeah, and the live ee or bishop says, " the trick is to have a live warlord or destroyer."
Or dwarf. There's really no reason to be picky - and the problem of finding matching partymates has always been there. I don't understand how people can get far past major heal without knowing a lot of pole users. x_x

a funny thing i saw back in intrelude when i was doing AoE in FoG. i usually had much esier to survive a big train then a destroyer. i guess since he pulled he couldnt use frenzy in a safe way and with rage his pdef became too low so he took too much damage.

and a warlord or destroyer dont really matter unless the destroyer can keep frenzying. warlord dont really have anything over a WS or BH other then stun skills and maybe can make pulls faster.

To be honest I played in FoG with my main (Fortune Seeker 79) and a Titan 77 before and at CT1, a Titan is way much better than a dwarf. And if a Titan can't activate all his skill while he pull then he is a noob.
Now for the warlord part, before CT1 I was able to do as good as a warlord but after CT1 all the warlord skill make a big difference on the damage made by the mobs and so use less mp from healer.
For CT1 destro > warlord > dwarf from my experience in FoG atleast.
