Great sword forberserker

here is my question...i have a great sword set aside for my berzerker when he hits 52 I was thinking of going with focus but the more i think about it i think health might be better

what do u think

Crit rate > all for PVE.

If you wanted a B Grade health two-hander, it should be a Guardian Sword, not a Great Sword.

Even so, GrS is more popular than GuaS for a reason. ;)

Well determing that kamael 2handers have considerably low crit rate and kamael has even lower hp it would be quite the choice


Lets just say the focus is for pve and health is for pvp cause your not going to find a kamael tanking with low hp in light armor with 1/2 hp recovery

The lower your natural crit rate is, the more awesome a focus SA becomes.

I've got a lvl 60 (soon 61) berzerker, and I have no idea what u mean by that. There is no skill with that name. Do u mean Furious soul? And focus wep is still very nice to have on kamael, augment for more crit rate ofc. They crit so nicely :)

I forget the skill anem its some toggle you get at 40 that is like beserker spirit buff and its nice to use for you attack fast and crit with the crit passives he gets and crit buffs(furious soul) and crit SA and if your lucky crit augment

I think he means True Berserker skill. I'm currently using a Berserker Sword w/ Focus on my 50 Zerker and it works nicely. The only trouble I'm having is the lack of SP neeed for all my skills. I already placed focus on my Great Sword as well because that 25% HP won't be needed if you have buffs and VR, especially not for PvE.

Yeah focus all the way for lvling.. and that SP thing is a big pain indeed! i just skip some skills in order to get the more important ones.

I notice a lot of Kamael using their overhit skills on every mob. Thats why they never have enough SP.

Anyway, going to skip(at least for now)useless skills like:
Slashing Blade,Spread Wing and Storm Assault.. some can be usefull like Slashing Blade(in catacombs etc)but i can't find a reason on why i should get right now.A skill that i won't touch is Spread Wing, don't know for Storm Assault.

Storm assuaslt is only useful for sieges, and mass pvp other than that it's useless stick to shoulder charge and blade rush-contagion spread wing isn't that sweet or useful slashing blade does a good amount of damage for an aoe skill lol

Focus.

My Innominate Victory has focus on it. I crit around 4 times every mob.

Turst me, no other better thing than focus.

I like haste till crit passives get high enough cause 18% crit isn't all that good

Trust me, it makes one heck of a difference. I tested it with a +6, no focus sword and with my +1 focus sword.

My sword was better because of the crits. Honestly.

Unless you get close to 500 crit rate with passives and buffs only, Focus will always have a noticeable effect.

Claiming that focus will not be worth it unless you already have crit passives is rubbish of the highest degree, since crit passives decrease the visible effect. The effect remains visible, of course, until you are close to cap, as you point out.

Well I'm just saying that putting focus on a "2nhand blunt" is kindof pointless... besides untill they get high enough where the crit passives become great enough for focus to be worthwhile, I think haste or health is a better option due to the fact that those swords are a bit slow due to being 2nhanders and the health the fact kamaels have none :p

These are not blunts in the first place. Health has no meaning in PVE, especially on a class that is not doing AoE so yes, suggesting Health is pointless. Haste will never give more DPS than Focus. So, if you wanna play it smart, you get Focus. If you wanna look ridiculous, you get either Haste or Health.

I know it's not a blunt, it's crit rate is like a blunt, Kamaels have almost no hp which is why i suggested health and i would decide focus if the crit passives recieved at later levels would make a difference

Putting focus on a blunt if it is available is a pretty bloody fantastic idea. May salvage a [censored] weapon. =o
