I thought it was fixed..

I thought the spamming of adena sales was fixed, because i hadn't received any in a while, but when i come home today from work after i had my dwarf in craft shop, what do i see.... :mad:

Isn't there anything being done to prevent this? If not, i suggest that removal of free trials should be an option. Other than that perhaps a autoban if you pm more than 50 ppl in a short time. :eek:

Something has to be done with this issue. It's not helping to /gm the ones that spam, because there are several others waiting in line to take over the spamming. I also think they use some sort of list of nicknames of toons, because it's not on all my toons i get these spams. :p

:3 I've recently had a few new people over from other game who wanted to run on a trial first before subscribing. :/ The adena spam is really unfortunate, but as long as the trials can even bring in a few dozen people, they're worthwhile. ~.~

I saw that but anyone that spends any amount of time here knows that they have continued.

As a two-boxer I can say one of my characters has never gotten any, and she's as old as CT1 now, while everyone else has gotten them at regular intervals.

I also haven't seen a complaint topic about it (other than this) since I started trolling agian - not so sure. I don't think I'd miss a flood of those.

You get this in other games so it is not exclusive to L2. If other games can't permanently stop it then I don't see how L2 can either.

I wasn't aware that there was a free trial, but I don't believe in cutting off your nose to spite your face.

Hence, anything that can bring in new customers is good (well, real customers).

And even if they were to stop all free trials, there is no reason to believe that they wouldn't still spam people. Just on purchased accounts.

I have recieved a few lately, but I report them. Only thing you can do. However my favorite was the one that was open in the looking for party window. Couldnt believe it was open for so long.

They wait in giran and write down the names of everyone that talks in shout then they hide and pm everyone on their list using a macro

I doubt they're writing anything down. It's probably automated.

I asked them kindly at their support site to remove me from their list (had to ask 3-4 times in a 6 days period) and I haven't received anything from them for months now.

the only characters of mine that get these spam messages are teh characters that frequent giran. The characters that do not goto giran ever do not get the spam.

i've never shouted "wtb/s" in giran on my characters that have been pmed by these people. the only reason i know this is i never shout in giran period. not that it matters, but they must be doing something else to get the names to pm.

Yes, she has been in both locations frequently.

I get the happy spam for her companion (who hasn't been in either place as often as her), but not for her.

You just weren't "right time right place" when some program did names collection.
