The shot is a PVP shot, CoD being the first attack used on the target, next hit killing the target, 76+ Sagittarius. Now we all know that 1,5k does not kill a 76+ Sagi lol, so, anyone else seen this? This is not in the patch notes and I've never seen it before.
I'm waiting to see if this is true. If it is, it was evidently not in the release notes, so we didn't know it was coming. Also, I haven't any real knowledge or experience with Lethal Strike, and I don't trust teh skill description in the library to provide useful insight. Can somebody tell me in simple terms what Lethal Strike does? (FYI, I have used COD for PvE quite a bit since the release of CT1, and I can't say I notice any difference in PvE.)

He was being attacked by a dagger at the same time if you look at the damage. In ct1 when a dagger lethals you it now lets you know by showing "your lethal strike was sucessful" on your damage screen also like on the daggers. It should say really something like "blahblah lethal strike was sucessful on you" but looks like they havent properly translated it yet.
Anyway yeah i noticed that when fighting daggers then it pops up on my screen letting me know they have lethaled me. So the answer is No COD does not lethal.
There could've been a dagger or an archer close by. I've seen this myself in my system log in the arena followed by a "WTH?!".. bad translation again, anyone surprised!?! Nice to know though.
Edit: Kremer that's hitting him is doing some huge damage too, could be an archer that's using Leathal Shot.
I had a Lethal Strike today.! with a CoD, tho i'm not sure what happend to the other guy, except that he killed me just after.
so i can conferm that there is a chance that it says leathel strike in the "chat box" but i do not know if it makes a "leathel strike" that we know form daggers.!

maybe its just me, but to me seems you saw the lethal strike from a dagger on your screen (as in he lethaled you) as you died right after.... but a screenie would be useful
well i didnt die just after, but I spent some time in the arena to see if i could get it to happen again, and after a wile, I found out that, when a dagger get lethal strike to land on you it will say in your chatbox: your lethal strike was succesfull, or something like that, so that explains a lot.!
lethals are shown on both the aggressor and the victim. i was lethaled on my 38 kamael, and i got the message "your lethal strike was successful" or w/e.
tyrants and destroyers cannot lethal blow with their crushes.
False.! some skills can both crit and overhit (like Armor Crush) , but COD can only over hit, the think a bout the lethal strike is, that now you can see it in your dmg/chat box when ever a dagger lethal you.
