I couldn't tell you. My graphic card is so old all I see on the new update is black circles around anyone including Heros now. They look like they're walking in a huge bubble. :(
I vote "Hot", just because of the dragon bomber with its stealth skill. It's the only one of the expensive ones I got, and I don't plan on getting any of the others. I just wish the reuse timer on it wasn't so slooooowwww.
The transforms are wonderful and it seems more of them are coming with camel lights (err 1.5). I just hope they do it by a different route than the raid boss eggs. Many would love to have the new transforms (except cat and death blader) but a lot of those have given up.
I did the quest for transformation and though wow this is cool. Being a slow orc I can transform into the kitty to get where I am going fast. Then I looked into other transformations and couldnt believe what it took to get them. I would need to rob my clan of much needed life crystals just to get the one I want (Dragon Bomber.) I cant do that since they are used to get clan skills.
Then I thought when are the rb farmers going to start selling them and how much. I was surprised it took at least two weeks before I saw them for sale on Hinde. Now one egg costs 12 mil adena. Seriously this is absurd.
Change the way transformations can be obtained. I like them but I dont have enough adena to join in on this adena sink, and I am not going to rob my clan of much needed life crystals to get them.
Before anyone comes back with the witty reply "raid more", know that my clan does. We raid every weekend and then some during the week. So either change the way to get transformations or up the rate at which life crystals drop when raiding. :mad:
um... don't buy the one time transformation, buy the scroll then learn the skill... then you won't pay 600k every four hours??? which is low for what I've been seeing prices go to
I think he's refering to the cost of a brez - averaging 1 death / 4 hours. or maybe shots? :o 600k is still pretty cheap for a brez if that's wat he's talking about...
Transformations are cool but far too expensive. At first I thought these could be a way to let healers solo but it's unfeasible, each transform skill will cost at least 50m.
What isn't hot is the people in giran trying to sell the pixy transform scrolls for 2mil when they are cheap from the fortress siege vendor npcs. The pixy scrolls are single use and transform you for 5 seconds, so I'm unaware of the purpose of these.
I dunno but the next time someone carries a flag can you pls transform to pixie and see if you move faster? BTW there is no cooldown on the pixie transforms and they cost 8K adena from the merchant that walks around EVERY fortress.

Black marketeers sells death blader scrolls, they cost 600k (AA I think not sure).
if you die at Arena in a transformation you lose that Adena that you spent to buy a scroll. equal an Adena sink.
Brez varies per server, on Bartz they sell for about 1.2-1.7mil. however they cost about 800k to make one.
But... you can't use the scroll you have to exchange the scroll of the transformation skill at the Avant Garde on the human floor of the Ivory Tower if your talking about sealbooks(1timers) I don't know where to get those from other than other players which I don't care for cause they waaaaay overpriced for 30min once

I never did the quest on PTS, and have started it but haven't actually run it.
It don't really interest me much. Got to admit that the patch notes don't tell you this.
Actually, some transformations are cool.
The Onyx Beast for example is great. I have 124 run speed, unbuffed. Transform to onyx and it's near 160 or so, plus it has another skill like Dash in addition.
Ones you learn the transformation, it's just like any other skill. No more scrolls needed other just the one originally to learn the transformation.
Considering it starts in the 50's, most classes should have little trouble completing it, and those that do can just grab a friend and finish it if need be.
Actually GETTING the forms, however, tends to be a bit harder, as you need raid drops once you get past the Onyx Beast and Death Blader.
Absolute crap. Why? Because they take items which you can only get from either raiding or buying at expensive prices. And all of that for a transformation which is more than likely ending up pretty much useless for my mage.
