Hello! I just started playing on Erica. I made a male Kamael and he is currently lvl15. Can someone tell me what class of the kamael is good as damage dealer? Thanks :)
Well, I haven't tried Soulbreakers, I have a Berserker though.
He has been soloing +3 mobs since lvl 46. I would think Berserkers have a more stable dd rate, but again, I'm biased, having only played a Berserker.
You might want to wait till someone that has a soulbreaker can help you. The thing is that the real NASTY skill for Berserkers come at lvl 60, while Checkmate for Soulbreakers comes earlier, if I'm not wrong. Another problem, for Checkmate you need to land Death Mark first, which doesn't have a 100% land rate. For Crushing Pain and other damage dealing skills you have no requirements.
Beserker is a pretty good DD class really. SB's is more of a hybrid. The actual really strong stuff doesn't come until lvl 60+ (steal divinity and curse divinity) for pvp anyways.
I am rather too low level to have a very strong opinion, but i can't say, that Soul Breaker is exactly weak damage dealer. I am often hunt in duo with Berserker and the damage we do seems more or less equal to me. Rapier has huge damage range and good critical rating and I end up tanking mob more often than Berserker. This might change in higher levels, but I doubt it. The problem with SB's is that there is quite many of dagger/rapier resistant mobs (like in pavel ruins or all of the gargolyas/golems), while Berserkers doesn't have such problem. But SB, unlike Berserker, has good magic attack capabilities and can seriously debuff enemies p.def & m.def.
Soul Breakers gets most of their main skills (shining blade, checkmate and steal divinity) at 52-55 levels.
