I looked at Aion and frankly it makes me drool. It's like L2++. Looks good on paper but the zerg that rules the abyss will rule them all.

Valentines day? Meh, I'm not much for NCsoft in-game events. I might do one of my own though by going perma-red on my archer through the act of spreading my "love" between all of the bots in lowbie Catacombs.

However, it will be renamed... something like:

Carebareish?

I think you have your expectations backwards!

Killing random players is carebareish on your part. More than likely they will just be trying to level a bit, solo, probably a good 40 levels or more below you. And your just going to come up 1-2 shot em and them BSOE away like that was hard?

C'MON! You can do better than THAT.

No, no....what you need to do is go to a nice heavily botted area, and start dropping them. Between the auto-rez and dense numbers I'm sure your going to be a nice numbers of PK's up by the time the 'Protectors' get there. The nice 78+ highly geared (albeight skill-less) protectors that is. NOW, when your deeply red, facing some tougher opponents (even if they can't play worth crap) and have a chance of dropping your armor (you did augment didn't you?) you can can truly say your 'Hardcore'.

Because quite frankly, zipping in and randomly ganking a couple of people before you run away to wash your karma and pk's like a spastic paranoiac is hardly 'hardcore' or exciting.

Oooh, thank you for teaching me the taboo arts of Player Killing. I've learned sooo much about it from the aforementioned quote that if I read anything else, I'll short-circuit.

PS, just for the record, My red will probably devel down to lvl 1 and still won't loose all the karma it has. ;)

Oh by the way, I still stand by in that killing afk bots is stupid and waiste of time/pk points. Killing people is fun, not because it's "Hardcore" but becaue it "******" them off, so there's an even greater chance they'll get on their main and look for you, if it comes down to it.
