Yeah I noticed that too, maybe they have some sort of alert that goes BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP as soon as the word Bot appears in a thread.
What is so special about it ? Every once in a while, some idiot comes to the german boards and asks us about "our servers", claiming that the Onlinewelten Inc. would host own Lineage2 Servers (which we obviously do not !).
If my team happens to see that thread on creation, it is sometimes deleted without any views on it...
Same goes for Goldsellers... If you advertise Goldselling on our website, I immediately and without warning delete the thread and close the board account indefinitely. While I cannot be everywhere at the same time, there are times, when I happen to be able to react within 5 Minutes of the posting going in...

Flexible Response Kitten
i think the main difference is that his board isn't really known for it's lightening reactions when it comes to moderating
In germany, we generally are not that lighthearted about the term "****", but as I know the american way to use it, I will not take offense to it. In your terms and definition, yes I am one. There are certain topics, that I simply do not allow.. We got one thread for freeshards. That's it. Any further thread asking or inquiring about freeshards gets an instant lock. Users, who openly admit, that they are playing on freeshards, get their questions ignored, locked, deleted, ridiculed or toasted.

Her board is indeed many times called out for being strict about freeshards and spamming. We got certain parts, where spamming is tolerated, one part, where spamming is allowed.. but in the main parts of "general", "news", "Q&A", "chronicles", "classes", etc. there is a pretty harsh anti-spam rule in existance. The last Moderator I took on the team was thanking me three days later, cause he was laughing so hard about all the deleted posts and threads he could suddenly read ;)
I think, the german boards are pretty much following the same rules as this board, with the exception, that the main language is german and that criticism about Lineage2 and NCsoft is allowed, as long as it stays civilised. A "why the *beep* dont you do anything about the *beep* bots !?!?!" thread is locked and/or deleted on the german boards in the same way it is done here. We intentionally do not want to be a german version or Blah.
Because they dont listen to civilised talk. Same goes for the fanboys who will defend NC on every stupid change they make.
Well, they won't listen to the other tone (that only means an indirect threat).
Civilised way or the highway.. resonable enough. (as much as I would like to explode some times, with anger over the soulless , it would only calm me down, if that's any good...).
