I recently got back into the game and decided to try my warlock again. i'm currently lv55, got BW light, still looking around for a weapon but i suppose it will be a dagger.
Now i'd like to know if anybody knows places/tricks to make decent money with a warlock, and still get some xp out of it too. Cause i remember from playing it a long time ago that those crystals and stuff costs quite a bit of money, and now there's also pet ss. So i'm a bit worried about going broke if i continue this
The pet SS are extremely cheap compared to what you would be paying for BSS. I still use my Homu sword since my p attk is insignificant compared to my summons. I only use bsps when I am in trouble and never use SS on my wep. If you don't use cubics the cost of summoning is well below what you will get just off of mob drops. I have been using the manor system and have been making several mil a day with my Warlock. If you can stick with it till lvl 56 you get a significant increase in summon power as well as Queen making you a viable party member. I assure you if you use the manor system you will not go broke. But if you just rely on mob drops you are going to be close to breaking even. Right now I am 57 and grinding away at FP which is giving me quick exp as well as good $$ from golden codran and chilly codran.
In many cases (servers) manoring is close to impossible on certain seeds, a friend got stuck with the crops for many many days (and he tryed to turn them in ON the clock..).
If you can turn in crops, sure, manor could provide a hefty profit. All melee classes should manor if they can (and they're not hunting in a spell books area). (can earn more from spell books then manor..)
