yesterday, i got my Name, changed to Changename6686, thanks to Gms.
Seems my Name contains something breaking the Rules of conduct.
I would like to know how the hell, after 3 years implicated in Lionna's Community, relatively known of almost all Active players on my server. And after posting few times here with the name i use In game, NOW this name could break the RoC.
There are much names that still live on my server and should have been change a long time ago.
Some are saying the GM team is lokking forward to be closer to the player community, hell that's a great step, bu maybe in the wrong way imo.
As the Player community lives also here, maybe you could have a better opinion of what we think of it, simply by asking.
(spent 10$/month for almost 36 month + same on another account so after paying to play and have this identity in game almost 720$ in 3 years, i feel like i could claim to keep it dont i ?
PS :Fortress functions bugs still live after 2 downtimes, and u still don't allow "-" when choosing char names, changing that would be a first step for the player community.
I have known Analhanna for almost since I started to play L2 and it's sad that the GM's decided to change her name now after she have had the name for 3 year. I mean come on...I have seen some names that is much much more against the RoC.
I have seen names like [Censored] and many other things, but it looks like those names are ok from the GM side...
I really hope the GM's return her name back to the normal or at least give her a free name change if they really thinks her name is again the RoC.

As i explained to our friends in the supports, my name has never been [Censored] Hanna, that's our wonderfull players's perverted mind that thought that.
My name is Ana-Lhanna, but, as you can't use "-" when creating a Char, i just stuck both in one.
And btw almost all pple on Lionna call me Ana, an not [Censored], so, i really don't see the PB.
And even, thinking a 7years old boy could be shocked would mean he or his friends would think about [Censored] things themselves lol, my Name or anyones name would'nt create anything of this kind.
And ****, after 3 years, then just force log u, and poof, u relog with the cute name of "Changename6686" IS'nt IT SO SWEET.
I agree that someone got mad at you and petitioned, maybe you just never made anyone mad enough to petition you before.
Just making sure but... you know you do get to change it, right? You don't have to stay "Changename6686". I know that doesn't help much, I would be seriously ticked if I had to change any of my character's names...
AnaLhanna probably would have been less likely to be petitioned, but I doubt they'll let you change to that since it still contains the same word. Maybe Annalhanna?
Well, I assume they won't let the name like that, that would be stupid.
They should just change your name to whatever is ok and you want.
Now honestly, what course of action comes now?
What happens next, are you stuck indefinetley with that name? Or at least until they bring name change services when you'll have to pay for it??
Anyway to me it seems like a stupid missunderstanding and in all honesty if it happened to me I'd be furios.
Awkward that I don't see any response from the comunity manager, I guess it's not considered relevant that a player got missunderstood in such a horrible manner, and 3 years later... pathetic.

P.S. What will happen when any player's name offends someone, or is pettitioned as "inproper"? Maybe a certain word means god knows what sacrilege in heck knows what country/culture... it's insane.. Or will it apply only to officially censored words appearing in names?

And very true too, everybody knows that by now NCNA cares more about our automated friends than real players, and this namechange is just another example of that... Try to petition one of those iiijjhu45ki and see him still there years after your petition, but try to petition a real player and see actions taken against him immediately (Stabby McStoo anyone ?) :p

You have to contact a GM to change your name now I think.
Maybe Anahlanna could do it. But you'll have to explain it to all your friends so they don't get scammed.

Once I petitioned a private shop that had the words [Censored] above its head, then petitioned again 3 hours later, then again 12 hours later......36 hours later......48 hours later it was still sitting in the middle of town unchanged, I gave up after that.
Anyway, if your name REALLY is Ana Lhanna like you say....call them and demand they give it back with the capital L.
Otherwise, join the ever growing line of dissatisfied customers on the happy train out of L2.

I don't really agree with that, due to the fact that tons of players have rerolled and/or ebayed new characters and easily kept their reputation (w/e that reputation may have been...) with the new name. I think most of us have the brain power to remember that Character Z used to play Character A. In fact, it's been my experience that even upon acquiring a new character, the player is called by their previous character's name more than they are called by their current character name.
For the reputation Parts, it's a bit true, but listof has a good point, on lionna, every single dumb that ebayed a new chars was almost everytime as dumb as on his previous char :p so ...
But, in a personnal way, i like my char, my name, i suffered some jokes on it since i created it, and i would like to keep a name according to my past.
yeah it's just a game blahblah.. but, as some think buying an account and a char is something natural, i'm very bound to my char and its name, and it's more important for me to keep my name, that to keep playing, i'll create an Analhanna on WoW, or any other game where i'll be able to play without being unfairly censored.

Someone makes the call and someone who wasn't here 3 years ago decides that name is wrong. I've had a name for close to 2 years then one day it gets changed. Now I see someone running with my old name plus a few other letters. Yes it's upsetting.
Because the GMs changed your name you can get a new one. Just senda petition with your new name and state what happened to your old name. You'll be asked to logout for a few minutes.
I had a name change once too for one of my chars called Rapetout (because of the R..e in it). They accpeted the change to Violitall (viol being the french for R..e). Now I'm just playing waiting for another game I'd like to come out ...
See, I always thought your name WAS the other way ana. I never cared though because there are ALOT worse names running around on lionna then that and they will probably never get petitioned. When did the PC Police start playing L2? I hate that if 1 person gets offended we have to change things to accomidate that 1 person.
