B-Grade HE Light Armor

There are not many choices. Which is considered best for a HE? I heard something about BW, cause of a speed bonus. Can anybody in the knowing shed some light on the matter? Thanks.

All the way to at least a grade baby

Do this only if you will be able to equip A grade at 61.
And if you can obtain Plated Leather really cheap, maybe rental, you'll afford A grade by 61. (if you plan ahead and make quests and manor)

Pair up with a buffer of some sort and Plated leather will take you all the way to 76 even. Did level 75.25 before I got my Majestic Helmet crafted, back when it was hard to find the receipes ^^

The top and bottom aren't usualyl very expensive, hunt mobs that drop the boot parts and craft it. Buy the last few parts if you need. You won't have it at level 40, but soon enough.

And focus on weapon first, patk is your bread and butter.

a little off topic but what do you guys think is the best C grade bow? as far as i know its Emi but what SA is best?

I havent done much bow work before and never been in a position to afford a C grade bow, i know its probs best to wait till B grade but i fancy a change...

what you reckon?

Don't use a bow at c grade, use a dagger and buddy up with someone who has VR in a cata room and get to 52 like that, then invest in a bow of peril.

yeah i know the right way to do it, but i fancy playing differently with my HE. What other SA's can you get a C grade, and are any of them any good.

Im used to Acumen and focus thats about it lol.

Quick recovery.. you shoot more arrows per minute, also use more MP.

Guidance.. could be nice, but HE's can use HawkEye for an awesome increase in accuracy.

just been looking, i think i would either choose cheap shot or miser. can HE's alter the MEN stats? (im assuming they can)
if so will probably be insane and go run around in robes with guidance SA and +5men and +4 dex (PL gives me +4 str) just for a laugh :)

also another quick questions, does the focus SA increase critical attack POWER or critical attack CHANCE?

I think you would get more benefit from cheap shot for the adena spent than you would from Miser.

Fighter classes cannot alter the MEN attribute which I think is ******ed but that is another discussion.

Focus SA increases critical chance. The SA that increases critical power is called "Crit Damage". However for pve purposes, focus > all else for the most part, class like a tyrant has exception when it comes to SA's for pve but again that is another discussion :P

cool, i thought focus SA = chance but wanted to be sure before i invest in my weapons. I'm used to Acumen, Magic Power, BTB etc.
