Target Next

Does this still not work? God ****.
It works for me.
Yeah, works fine for me. A little too well, considering they extended the range.

I don't ALWAYS want to go attack the nearest treasure box, despite what my orc thinks.
Yes, it works.
But the WAY it works... I grew accustomed to that tiny range it had during all these years. In the end when PvE'ing I barely targeted mobs manualy - just run past it and hit next target, saves that targeting and clicking effort.
Now sometimes it targets something I dont want to and that ends in a trouble (for example while tanking I used it to hop my target status per several mobs, that needed to be stunned/hated/rooted and now if it targets a mob group, that is twice as far as that I expect to target and I accidentally agro BOTH... well, you understand what it means). I would LOVE to have it like it used to be before CT1...
It's amusing, DarkWind. I'm much the same mind as you.

What happened was everyone got used to the short range, but at the same time people complained about it (archers and other ranged classes, mainly).

Now that the range is increased, those of us who learned to play with it have to adapt, and in the mean time it leads to a lot more "Uh, rez pls? Overpull lol" in ally chat.
Works just fine. Better than before. I like it how it is now, can just stand in the middle of pagans room and go next target.
I hate when there is two mobs hitting me and one standing far away. I target one, then switch target to debuff another and I hit next target to switch my focus to the first one again and BAH - third mob runnin in me, obviously very angry to have that skill in his face...
Look what you target before using skills/attacking.
Sure, but when situation is developing so fast, that you are seconds away from death (especially when you are kamael AND trying to protect your little pet, you know...) then the last thing I want to do is to confirm if I am really targeting correct mob...
Its a habbit ofc, I will get used to it, its just very annoying atm.
Elixirs and potions are there for a reason >.> Only deaths in PVE these days that I see are caused by mcrits while using 30% HP skills. Tyrants are more prone for it than my class ^^
At your level, yeah, I suppose... Well, I am B grade Soul Breaker, I have a hatchling to look after and I dont have any support, so I have to rely on simple HP potions, herbs and my reaction, when it comes to saving the day for my little dragoness. And pets can't use elixirs.

And pets can't use elixirs.

Have you tried using elixirs on your dragon?
But ofcourse, I wouldn't post here, if I didn't knew for sure.
I've tried and got a system message "pets can't use this item" or smth like that.
No "of course" about it; Lots of people post preconceived assumptions about stuff they *think* they know :p No offense meant, I don't know you, I just wanted to make sure.

With most of the recent chronicles there are 'things to adjust to'.
For a true tank the add-on mobs and respawns are trickier now than they used to be--it's just a matter of adjusting.

I don't mind the next target as it is now although I have rooted at least a couple treasure boxes in DVC I didn't want to involve in the fray (lol).

Over time you adjust and during that phase you get to use many of your curse words and sometimes learn new ones!

:thumb up: :D

for once I agree with you.

Next target is much better with the range it has now compared to what it had before. Now we can go through almost a whole large cata room, while before we could hardly ever target anything past a few feet from us.
