Just a warning to all you out there, dont fall for it.

Be careful.
You should forward any e-mail or link that they give to customer service. Or even Alyra.
I've forwarded this to all of the appropriate departments, thank you. That is indeed not from NCsoft. As a reminder, if you get a fishy-sounding e-mail out of the blue, and it has funny-looking links in it, it's very likely not legit. When in doubt, you can always check with NCsoft support first.

Another thing you can do, is simply NEVER click any link in an email like that. If you're not sure, type in: www.lineage2.com (http://www.lineage2.com) and follow the links to get to the plaync account site.
There are too many sukkas that fall for these things

(or it will be deactivated and deleted)

It was confirmed several times that they never delete any of customer accounts. Not even locked ones.

Besides clever browser informs you that it is possible phishing, because URL does not match and there is no secure encrypted http being used (or fake certificate).
its pretty obvious within the first 20 words actually. NCsoft PROBABLY, not forsure, but probably has a standard text saved standard email to send out for most password problems and such, as most gaming industries do, and usually professional game companies dont mispell words like "Responsible" and "announcement" but hey, obviously if someone has to send these emails he or she is probably not smart enough to lvl a character on his or her own lol
I can see like, my gramma (who doesn't even know how to use a computer) falling for this, but anyone who's been around the internet for any amount of time should know not to fall for stuff like this. It's the oldest trick in the book. It's not just games that people send these type of emails out for, but banks as well. I just LOL and /junk when I get them.

I don't think anyone ever deserves to be scammed, so I'm not gonna say "if you're dumb enough to fall for it, you deserve it!" But I do think you'd have to be lacking a few brain cells.... or majorly distracted (like a tornado ripping through your house) to actually fall for it.
just got this mail aswell the email adress is the same off when u activate acct tho =o
a from email address is the easiest thing in the world to fake ... look at any email client, it *asks* you what you email address is, so you can pretty much put in anything you want, it's not rocket science
