Prices will skyrocket to the servers that most people will choose to transfer ( teon , franz , bartz i believe ) . That will happen because a lot of adena will be transfered towards those servers.
To the rest of the servers prices will fall , since there will an influx of materials and gear to the market from people that want to transfer , in order to liquify their assets.
Well .. That prolly helps markets in low population servers and will badly harm those of the bigger ones.
in the begining it will deffently rock the boat abit, since u can bring more adena over than items.
So the ones that have a 80/75+/75+ , wich is many, will only be able to bring the gear for one class over and will have to buy new items...
ie overflow of adena vs shortage of items = higher prices.
im buying some extra a/s grade stuff now ^^, just to be safe =P
doubt it will have any effect at all ...
OK some people might liquidate stuff, but keeping in mind adena transfer is limited I doubt you ll see ppl just selling off everything
Epics transfer, 1 weapon 1 armor set transfer, people will most likelly also transfer their buff slave to carry their sub gear so yeah ... no biggie
People will go ahead and liquidify on transfer - even if what you can take is limited, you can always replace any piece of your gear with a more expensive one.
I'm curious about the price of the service - depending on that, people may server-hop just to make money more easily. :)
The cost of the service will be so high that not many will opt for server transfer. I don't see it really impacting the economies quite the way it would if it were a much for free flowing system. $30 to change name, I bet it costs $50 to change servers.

yay, finally some profit for ncna! maybe they will stop outsourcing CS and start listening to the NA audience.
I think it'll jack all the prices up. People can only bring equipped items and adena, so people with even one sub will need at least one set of equipment. Lots of people with lots of adena all needing the same equipment? Huge price increase.
Well that was a tad disappointing. I was hoping to transfer my 12K or was that 24K silver coins from Gustin. And my 2 chrono citharas. At least pets transfer.
The opposite end of this is if people can organize trades ahead of time. Most likely in another message board.
Actually we could probably use this board, just post it in the right server forum. I don't see it being against the EULA to set up inter-server trades, esp. for Chrono weapons, quest items and other non-transferable goods, with another player. (Of course, Alyra, Ornery, et al., feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.)
It's just a matter of working out the logistics. Most ppl have more than one account, so I imagine using a second client to do a simultaneous trade will be the way to go.
Since there is a 6 monthes delay to move again I think it will be mainly transfers to the most populated servers, so yes prices more expensive there, but cheaper on the less populated servers since the players moving will sell their stuff before leaving :)
I believe inter-server trades are against the EULA. I could be wrong..
Indeed they are.
As for what is going to happen? Inflation will hit the biggest servers who get the highest influx of high level players--the most.
Particularly the most popular gear for the most popular classes.
The inflation on big servers 'getting' a lot of players will last longer than the price deflation on the smaller servers.
Of course all is dependent upon #'s who go. If 1500 players show up on Bartz then the folks already there are gonna see some serious inflation. If only 100 players transfer it probably won't effect much.
I believe inter-server trades are against the EULA. I could be wrong..
They are but they will happen. If they can't effectively deal with the bot problem then how much resources do you think they are going to throw into the more extensive investigation it will take to uncover interserver trades?
Two observations...whether one likes the rules, agrees with the rules, or not--following those rules is the right thing to do.
Getting around the procedure outside of the Eula is done at the player's risk.
Secondly.......don't share with me how you made arrangements with 'xxdeathxx' to break the Eula. I'll tell you right now that I'll fill out the petition with the information you share.
Cheating is cheating.
For the record, cheating a cheater is NOT cheating. I'd advise everyone who agrees to help someone go to another server and "find" 2 billion adena to cheat that other person out of it and not pay when they arrive on the server (lol). What are they gonna do? Report you for NOT helping them cheat?
Prices will go up on hot destinations, while I think economy will get more balanced on servers that people leave - some will sell their excessive stuff ASAP, while others will try to buy cheaper items to equip and transfer.

+1 If u dont like the rules they have made then dont transfer

Clearly an amendment to the EULA is needed, then, in light of the recent addition of server transfers. After all, the EULA was written before server transfers were permissable. Not going to march on Washington for this, but it only seems sensible to me to redefine what is and is not a violation.
I've stated this before, but I'll reiterate on the "Are cross-server trades bannable?" question.
You do them at your own risk. We won't support them. So, if you get scammed, well .... sorry, but it was at your own risk. As long as the trade doesn't involve real money, it is not something you will be banned for, but we advise against it for your own protection.
