Hello whomever is on Kain I'm currently interested in an academy membership. Well let introduce myself, so I started L2 back on C4, not that I knew jack what was released then besides reading patch notes. Didn't get anywhere since whenever I play, I see only 1 or 2 people at most besides the mass of player shops at the main towns, so it pretty much pushed me away as far as player base went for me at the time. Anyway so I stopped until T1: Kamael came out and something call out to me again to give a try once more.
I never played past the 20 - 30th level range, but willing to give it a shot at it again. But problem is, I want to play casual atm not anything hardcore because I'm still pretty much a new guy at this still and I don't know what goes on Kain. As for friends... I had only 1 or 2, but they played on Teon, haven't heard from them since I moved location but pretty much of the guys at work used to play L2 so that's how I got into in the first place.
I'm pretty much a whatever goes kind of guy, don't mind learning new things, but I'm on-hands type person, it's better to show me how to rather than just tell me what to do. I may sometimes have a hard time trying to learn, mainly to due how you are trying to tell me or show. Other than that, I hope someone gives me a reply for this and I guess see you whoever it is on Kain.
As for experience? Well I have so far played or at least attempted these MMOs:
Final Fantasy XI - My first one ever, a freaking experience timesink.
World of Warcraft - My current one, I know, it's also a trend now, but after playing for 3+ years on endgame doing quests and raids I need a little break.
Lineage 2 - Well of course.
Dungeons and Dragons Online - I like to try out new things so I paid for this for a bit, but after a while didn't seem anything special.
Rappelz - I tried this during the final stages of open beta, was fun for a while mostly due to friends but stop due to working at new times.
RF Online - I actually liked this game, but the pvp aspect was : massed and....pot spamming, so basically boiling down to who had the most pots. Wasn't high lvl anyway and I usually get 2-3 shotted by high lvlers.
And...that's pretty much it on MMos, I know I never played EQ or UO or whatever, but I started on this genre late so give me a break here.
Ok... I'm currently playing on -0800 GMT atm, but going to move back to a -0600 GMT for a month or 2 before coming back mainly due to my current job in a week or less.
Oh right...I played a human knight to start out with, which is still 2x thought it would be nice to play after reading some of the older guides on tanking and whatnot. I tried paying other classes on alts and stuff, didn't get far as to 1st class change but I'll see should I stay as a human knight switch to a new class.
