Hmm, I've been told it can take a few hours to sync with the website. Since it's already been four hours, I'll check to make sure there isn't something else going on.
Update: The name change page will be updated tomorrow. We're fixing the timing on the data sync so that it will occur on the same day as maintenance (Tuesdays) in the future.

Arent you required to make a lvl 1 toon on the account with the new name prior to the server maint. ?
Yes, but we pull the data once the changes go through so that it's accurate, then sync it with the website. We don't pull the data ahead of time in case of failures (folks not leaving their clan before maintenance, etc.).

At this rate these lists are going to get pretty long. To ease our searching, can we get these list sorted dynamically? We will need the ability to sort alphanumerically, change date, character inception, gender, hair color, race, class and date since list modification. [/humor]

She said that she gave the code monkeys the same feedback, but that they didn't have time to implement variable sorting criteria in time for the service launch.
Perhaps it's something we'll see down the line, though.
1) it seems like the list didn't get updated again :|
last time was 12. Feb (they have a time a timestamp in the js file, where you can check) ....
So last week i thought it might have s.th. to do with the ServerTransfer, but still no update after this weeks maintenance :(
2) If I remember right, it seemed like that list only contains the changed names from that specific week.
So if this wasn't a problem on nc side, we won't have a problem with a huuuge list.
Remember, too, that with all the server transfers, many names were changed on the new server (since so many names people had grabbed up just to be jerks)
