Bot Trains

I was on Teon last night on a noobie killing Golems on TI.
There was a train of Kamaels all being dragged around.

How about making the leading char only capable of being targetted by just one other char ? This would stop the ability to have long trains in one fell swoop. Any trains seen after that would clearly be using cheats.
I suppose pvp would require the pressing of CTRL would remove this restriction.

Any thoughts ?

Their botting programs would then add an autofollow of their own that doesn't need to target the leader, if they don't have that functionality already.

Not really getting the point of this ... are you having trouble telling which trains are run by 3rd party software?

And adding this would pretty much ruin half of the PvP system.

And any soulless are clearly seen as soulless anyway. If you can't recognise it after 10 seconds of observation, you need to go out and relax.

that took me about 10 seconds to think up.
anyway, the bot-programs will just auto-follow without target. See no reason why that couldn't be done.

flame wars !!! ;) but the sad point is they are all right, when u really think bot programs work this way u might think they have programmed lego robotix to play for u (what does work quite well for bd ^^)

You could totally do that though. I've seen more complex things being created from Lego :p You couldn't make it do anything else than auto-follow and hit skill X every Y seconds

Wrong position of the thread and a very bad suggestion.

A for effort... F for result.

And if you have not understood the insensitive above, you suggestion would not work.

It would make the game harder for those of us with souls and would require about 30 seconds for the CHEATERS to get around it.

Plus people get tired of seeing any kind of suggestion regarding getting rid of them. The games doesnt care, they dont anymore either.

I on the other hand welcome your thoughts. I suggest a better thought next time or the ******* above will probably find you in rl and not do anything there either.

It wouldn't take any time at all for "cheaters" to get around, those programs dont use the AF like you'd use in a macro anyway.

I don't like the idea.

The suggestion is nice but it wouldn't take long for the train to target each other. Lead is targetted by 2nd, 2nd is targetted by 3rd, 3rd targetted by 4th. In the end you get a real choo choo.

hehe. and when you 3 box you keep losing target.. nononono

we did that with skill using (very short follow range) yesterday, looked very funny

Or how about you take 5 minutes out of your time everyday and change the server to client calls so it blocks out the software entirely!
