Ban user user named 'Announcements'

Dear NCSoft,

Please ban a user named Announcements. Everytime I log in he/she keeps yelling about Adena and this is quite offensive. He/she keeps repeating this on a timely basis which proves something fishy is going on. Your quick response to this issue would be most appreciated.

I also want to report an as-yet unknown player who has, apparently, been stalking me while I play L2 and somehow has the ability to PM me without leaving a name.

I am not sure who they are or how they are able to tell how long I have been online, as my FriendsList shows that either none of my friends are on, or are probably not my stalker, but I get PMs from this stalker telling me that I've been playing for too long and should take a break.

Is this a bot-master trying to steal my hunting spot?

Losing $$$?? shame they dont ban any1 who buys adena 2 as well as the farmers, bots....

I've had the same problem, I even get pmed when I'm not moving and it constantly tries to get me to log off lol

If just one person does it, they might think it's just another false bot petition. And if two people do it, in harmony, they'll think it's someone's buffer account and they won't take either of them. And if three people do it, three, can you imagine, three people logging in, petitioning Announcement and logging off. They might think it's an organization. And can you, can you imagine fifty people a day,I said fifty people a day logging in petitioning Announcement and logging out out. And friends they may thinks it's a movement.

And that's what it is, the petitioning Announcement Anti-Massacre Movement, and all you got to do to join is sing it the next time it come's around on the guitar.

I honestly don't get why it has to spam everyone every few min. Isn't it enough to have it display after you log in. I personally find it quite annoying.
A way to disable the global announcements would be appreciated as well. Although you shouldn't *need* such an option.

The spam is literally [censored] people over. If you're afk selling something and get offers in pm, chances are that they will be pushed away by the [censored] annoying announcement that is being spammed all the time. Same goes for all other important pms, clan chat, ally chat and even party chat.

MAKE EM STOP! It's not like your spam actually helps anything.

I like the announcements - BUT only state them when you first log in. Every time I see it, I keep thinking that the server will be going offline.

I will change it to a longer period of time between announcments. I will then change it to a connection announcment once I remove the "Don't fall for Phishing E-Mails" announcment.

I think it's fine as it is now, but then I just tune it out once I've read it the first time, glance over it as it pops up, and go about my business.

I wouldn't complain if there was a check to see if the system window was open and, if it was, sent it there.

The rules apply whether you know about them or not. It is completely your own responsibility to learn them, and you can't put the blame on anybody else if you don't.
