Just wondering what is gonna be done by NCSOFT to recover the (stuff) lost by players who have been scammed by the nc soft email scam you are currently admiting to. Everything belongs to ncsoft untail some one uses an ncsoft email to **** your account then there no longer helpful. May be this would be better ducussed in PC mag or some were potencial new ncsoft customers can see it and know NCSOFT does not care about the customer???? Alot of people got took on lionna and it must be BIG to announce to everyone not to accept emails from ncsoft and give instructions on were to and what to do. So what is NCSOFT going to do to recover there customers belongings , can thay return the account to the day of hacking (when all passwords were changes and accounts striped or every thing from every toon ) NcSoft needs to step up to the plate and protect there customer base and integraty.

Uh, I missed the boat. Was this a letter sent by NCsoft that had malicious content within it or was this just another scammer mail sent by someone wholly unrelated to NCsoft?
Seriously, no company on the planet sends you an email telling you that they need your account info (here's a tip: they already know it) or risk deleting your account. Bank customers get these same sorts of scam emails all the time. Usually, if they get took, they get nothing back unless they catch it real quick.
If you fall for this scam, it's not NCSoft's fault, and if they do start reimbursing people who got scammed, they're opening themselves up to being scammed as well.
i lost a fulls et of epic jewels and my +20 Draconic focus bow. also lost my level cause the guy logged in and delvelled me to 62. i was level 80. plz re-imbirse!
NC Soft didnt send the e-mail and can not be held liable for any stuff you might have lost. If you fell victim to this obvious phishing attmept, change your account passwords and such immediately. And also try to remove whatever spyware and keylogs might now be on your system. To quote your sig:

Reading your post and realizing that, yes...that's his actual sig I am left to believe that this(the original post) is one of the most wonderfully creative and highly entertaining troll posts I have seen in a long time.
it wasnt sent *from* ncsoft, check the headers, it was a spoofed from address
A 3 year old with a psp can spoof the from email address, you should learn not to give your banking details to randomnigerianbank.com and your lineage account details to hithisisncsofthonest.com

lol are u ***** serious??
anyone who is dumb ** enough to click on the link deserve it
I never recieved something that I could treat playing at plaync style/employees etc... Anyways I will never go through any link from the scam message. If I want change something, I navigate to plaync secured area manually. If ppl allow cheating them, then it's worse for them.
You should have separate email for accounts so you only read it when you need to recover password and what not, and if it comes to another email then it's not legit.

NCSoft said not to click on the link in the mail. No where did they say it came from them. It didn't.
chieff - The e-mails you're talking about are not from NCsoft. They have been designed to look like they are official; this is a very common form of internet data phishing. It's always best to use discretion before opening any e-mail, and especially before clicking on a link or opening an attachment.
Last week another player alerted the community to these e-mails, and I did comment stating that players can always check with NCsoft if they aren't sure if an e-mail is from us or not. Also, if something happened that warranted an account security update, you would see a news announcement about it on our site.
If you or someone you know was hacked, they need to contact support, not post about it here on the forums.
