(Jumping Like a Dwarf that Just Spoiled a S grade Bow )
CT1.5 Skills
Those new buffs replace two existing buffs on target. SP is not necessary to learn the skills
Warcryer
Empower Combat (Level 70) - Same as previous Might 3 and Shield 3.
Empower Critical (Level 72) - Same as previous Focus 3 + Death Whisper 3.
Memories (?) (Level 74) - Same as previous Reflect Damage 3 + Vampiric Rage 4.
Shillien Elder
Empower Magic (Level 70) - Same as previous Empower 3 + Magic Barrier 3.
Empower Critical (Level 70) - Same as previous Focus 3 + Death Whisper 3.
this cant be done.
it was about time to show some love to SEs.
and its pretty nice to have 1 buff slot instead of 2 occupied, so you can use the other one for something else.
ha wait till you see the new SS buff... it will make PP so gimp no one in the right mind will ever roll one again...
also ES and Card get a sweet buff too
PP gets sweet FA
i wonder how that will work; buff someone w/ might 3 and shield 3, replace those to w/ 'empower combat'? or will those 2 buffs be replaced automaticlly w/ 'empower combat' when the second is used?or can u just buff 'empower combat' directly? :)
another question would be; do those new empower-skills use mp or not? .... :)
sooo many question and no answers .... :p
let's just wait for CT1.5-PTS before we assume to many things how it could work ;)
With the new buff you don't even need buff the old buff just remove them from your macros :)
They are basically new buffs that do the same as what the old buffs use to do but only taking 1 cast and 1 buff spot you still will have the old buffs they will just be like sleep (no longer used) they will take mp to cast just no SP to learn which is nice. some people will still use shield for mages because the the buff will take more mp then just casting shield and mages don't need might unless they fighting also.
What I like is my SE got some love with Magic Barrier 3.
the combo buffs replace both of the buffs and last for 40minutes (aka good for pvp)
eg. Warcryer buffs haste and vr, then buffs memories which replaces them and doubles the duration. (yes memories = haste + vr NOT reflect + vr)
PS yeah SE doesnt get Magic barrier as a buff, but can use empower magic on a target that has empo+mb buffed

Where did you get the info about double duration? I have not seen such a thing anywhere. Please provide a link.

No sp cost is a joke I bet it will cost some book that you have to get from the hardest 70+ RB's and then the mp cost would be rediculous and you got to use 40 spirit ore each cast.
Are these free upgrades or you need books that drop only from epic bosses?
Only the 80+ books require epic bosses. But here's a thoughy we discussed in vent last night. Frintezza is a farmed boss, so is baium. So if all books drop from all bosses not a big deal, 81 is a long way off for most people so there's plenty of time.
But what if some bosses drop certain books, ie sorc books drop from valakas or somethign like that. In that case it becomes actually easier for people to hit 81 than to get the spellbooks for those spells.

why can't you just translate and confirm the official korean patch notes? :)
(maybe should just put a disclaimer on it that some minor(?) changes are possible until na release ;))
Here is what I do not get... since PP are supposed to be the best buffers, why again... are they getting the short stick.
Ah! Once again the almighty WC renders PP's irrelevant *sniff* (T_T). Some people are even replacing PP buffpets for a WC counterpart! 'Tis a shame that with each new incarnation PP gets a beatin' with ye old Nerf Stick, or just gets ignored *sigh*.
I guess after the update the only buffs unique to PP will be BtS, G.Might, G.Shield and Acumen o.O ( oh... and Invigor yay! (¬_¬) )
Hell, even Elemental Protection becomes available to all mage classes... granted it's lvl 81 but still WHERE IS THE JUSTICE!!! I think its due time PP got some MP management skills at the very least, i would even be happy with just Invocation!
It seems being a Battle Prophet is the only way to not be entirely overlooked when being picked for a party but WC can do that also, and some would say they do it better.
R.I.P Prophet/Hierophant
I will still play you to the very end... all alone (T_T)

It's not what people say, it's pure stats. If you check the physical stats (STR,CON,DEX) you have PP: 22,27,21 and WC: 27,31,24. They both get HA masteries but WC has also drains and hammer crush. The WC is a fighter/mage hybrid and no buffer can match him on melee.
What NC failed to do in my opinion is give prophet some debuffing abilities. Prophets (and the rest of the buffers) have high Matk which the WC doesn't have. So they could use this to do what they are supposed to do: SUPPORT. That is buff before the battle and harass the enemy during it (root, mana burn, debuff). That would give them something to do both for PvP and PvE. Debuffs (physical or magical) should never have been given to any DD class.
Instead NC gave them some uber buffs like "resist poison". Gratz NC.
PS. If you check the CT 1.5 notes, NC considers WC and prophet to be the same type (Enchanter class). Bishop, EE, SE are another (healer class).
elemental protection DOES NOT become available to all mages ....Protection of Rune/Alignment/Elements are new passive skills that ALL level 81 chars can train
my point is basicly the following; infos translated by fans (fansites or single person doesn't matter imho) are always based on personal opinions what it could be meant aka not offcially approved for being translated right.
PS: why not create a special news section with 'korean news'? upcoming bug fixes, skill changes and chronicle patches and such stuff ....

I will be so happy when I hit 81 in 7 years and finally get a skill that can crit on my destro (and the 9k power one probably wont make me angry or anything either).

Last week when a lot of the people that was leaving were giving me free stuff. I will be spending the rest of the Year selling all this stuff. I sold the DOOM heavy set that i got free in the first place for 35 mill Monday night :D
it will be like another level of vr. Vr5/6 depending on how strong they make it. Should imagine it would require a spell book though because of its potential and huge demand it will bring for SEs
it will be an awesome skill.
and yet again all the other classes get some sort of new skill, (cardinals sacrifice looks ace too) except heiro's which dont get anything of real use...

WC get G. Shield (Earth Chant), G. Might (War Chant) and Acumen though I forget what it is called. Basically all a PP has is BTS, BTB (excluding weapon SA buff) and Invigor. So yeah, PP's get the dirty end of the stick, again!
Might as well finish off the SE while they are at it, and give Emp and WM to WC. Then all the SE is good for is mediocre heals, cause they're gimped there too!
Why not improve PP's? Give them Invocation and G. Heal. SEs are considered "buffers" as their 39 quest is same as PP, and they get G. Heal. EEs are considered healers, hence they get Major Heal and 39 quest is same as Bish.
As it stands, the only people who want PPs for a duo are Archers. They are handy for larger groups where a tank is present, since WC can't pick and chose which party member gets G. Shield and G. Might, but thats about it.
PPs can't solo, as they have no VR and no heals. Even an SE could solo with LA and duals. EE/Bish at least get 40+ Offensive skills, even if they are only good for Undead mobs.
With a few additions, PPs could be back on top as THE buffer class, as they were originally intended. Now they are being replaced.

And bishops get the group version of BTB, so really just BTS and invigor. And zerk2 is an advantage, since it's is nice to be able to choose who gets it, without having anyone run away :p
