Guest or Trial Account, Working L2 Download?

How does one get a trial code for a friend. Also are there any downloads of L2 that actually work, I tried every server listed and not one of them worked i had to use a C1 L2 disk and then update to death. Thank you in advance for your responces!

If you have an active account and want to give a friend a trial: http://www.lineage2.com/my_account/refer_a_friend.html

If you just started and want your friend to join you, anyone can get a free trial from http://www.gamerzines.com/downloading-mmozine_3.html You'll have to use Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the pdf, other pdf viewers have the sense not to support bizarre forms like that one.

You will also want to be aware that trial accounts cannot trade, drop items, setup stores, or interact with player stores.

I had no issues with client download, so you'll need to find someone else to help you there.

You can also use Fileplanet's version of the CT1 client. I did and it worked fine, but, then again, I'm a FP subscriber.
