at least i adjust xp 100% with golem
at pagan or IT, dont u think its time
as higher lvl u are golem to take less xp
15% is ok for low lvls but, xp at 77,78
with golem take 15% is nightmare :)
and dont tell, dont use it, coz u cant xp
without it, will be nice for example
when u enchant it, to start take less xp :)

I like this idea as I am exping solo sometimes and the only way for me to solo is with the golem summoned.
WERD
they shuold remove the exp it takes completely thats what I think, initially I think they did that to avoid the WS level faster than others, but nowadays both dwarven classes take forever to level up is almost imposible to solo or is too expensive and slow pass level 73-74

If they did that, they would have to remove XP penalty of true summoners too. For my PS, it cost 10% to use my main DD Soulless. 30% for using Shadow my VR stacking tank and I do sometimes need to use him.

not since CT1 came:

Servitor & Exp

The Exp. taken by Servitors has been reduced significantly. Some Servitors do not take any Exp. at all anymore.

* Feline Queen, Unicorn Seraphim, and Nightshade now take no Exp. at level 70+.
* Kai the Cat, Merrow the Unicorn, and Soulless now take no Exp. at level 70+.
* Feline King, Magnus the Unicorn, and Spectral Lord do not take any Exp.
* Kat the Cat, Boxer the Unicorn, and Shadow now take 18% of the Exp. at level 78+.

Summoners are fine with xp penalty right now, but WS, DA and Necro still have the same old penalties.
I want my summon to stop taking my xp, I mean I feed it, and love it, and give it excirse, and this is how it repays me?
Yeah, I'm aware of the change. But of course that only comes in after lvl 70+. Maybe if they cut Golem XP cost in half after the WS hits lvl 70. But the benefits of having a summon should always be greater on a true summoner.

I agree, but the golem only lasts for around 25min in constant battle or until it takes agro (with almost 4 times the patk that I have it does that wery often) and it costs [censored] loads of crystals and shots.

a WS gets the last lvl on the "summon mechanic golem" skill at lvl 72 so making it take 5% exp (normaly takes 15%) from that point on would be good.
/agree

oh, btw regarding cost. im not so certain your cheaper in your SS usage per killed mobs compared to upkeep and SS usage of your pet per killed mob. if you use S grade that is atleast.
No but you will be summoning it far more often if you're not overly cautious. You can't heal the golem yourself, you can't buff it either for that matter. In parties it can get both buffs and heals but solo which is the question here it can not (besides i rarely ever see it being brought up in parties, lol). So it steals agro, gets hit and has a much higher risk of dieing. Also they dont even have anything similar to a transfer pain.
Imo even with no exp penalty on a golem i would still say the true summoners have the upper hand with all the extra's they get for their summons that a ws doesnt. I dont mean Exp per hour with it, i mean in general.
Warsmith is not a summoner class. I don't know why you're even comparing their features. Warsmith gets an expensive summon pet to help with damage, same with DA's. Dwarfs get Pole masteries, heavy armor masteries, and blunt mastery. Sure, there's something to be desired, but they shouldn't get benefits only true summoners were meant to have.
why you try to compare to summoners?
golem is warsmith true power!!! noone asked
to have skill to buff it,
Read the post I was responding to.

My Warsmith with a pole and Big Boom can level 2x faster than my Phantom Summoner. I really think the penalties in place are fair for the circumstances. Summoners don't get a break in xp cost until past lvl 70, In tough places, we take 30% xp hit to have shadow out. Once we get Soulless it is 10%, and our party summon takes 5%. Crystals and shots are expensive for real summoners too. At lvl 58, Soulless uses 3 Beast shots per charge, and takes about 30 C Cry per hour. Shadow uses 4 Shots and lots of D cry. But the thing is, our summon is our weapon. We cannot hunt without it, we are paper thin even with Light Armor. Dwarfs have more ways to lvl than using the summon.

Besides, Fully buffed, the mechanic Golem is one the most powerful summons in the game. 15% is not that much really for the benefit.

It doesn't even come close to the real summoners summon patk or the DA's cat patk. Sure my Golem has around 1700-2000 patk fully buffed, but that is the same as some of the summons unbuffed...

Yes a WS can exp without it, but it is as slow as lvling a tank (if not slower due to less crits the blunt provides)...yes dwarves get pole masteries, but you can't do AoE solo (having oop buffs/heals isn't soloing).

Even the great wolf is cheaper and better than the golem (pdef, patk, mdef and hp).
You need to re-read my post because you completely misunderstood it.
It was not a comparison more of an explanation, more directed towards posts before me.
Also it was solo that was the topic and solo means no other buffs than what your toon can add by himself... since a dwarf can't add any i would like to see one aoe'ing solo. Purchase of scrolls and buffpets are both considered outside support. The only thing acceptable is ww pots and gsaps as they are the only real constant purchasable buff.
Scrolls eventhough abundant are still a limited ammount and can given the right circumstances be purchased up and become non-existant (its extremely unlikely but it -can- happen).
So solo the summoner does have the upper hand almost no matter how you alter the exp penalties, its just a matter of how big of a timeframe you're willing to look at.

Basically my post was directed to the cost issue someone said before me. And you -will- summon your golem far more often as a dorf than a summoner does his weapon. Both due to the shorter timespan a golem is up before it needs to be resummoned and both due to it being extremely fragile and prone to steal the agro without means of healing it and keeping it alive. I dont know if it has changed but before you couldn't even let it crack an hp pot as it has no inventory. It eats C crystals like candy just like everything else, shots is not just 1 beast ss per swing, its more. 2-3 if i recall correctly but im unsure. Speaking of the bigboom? sure thats a buch of D crystals and you're going to use Alot of those.. oh and what was it? 99 spiritshots per boom if you want any real damage from it? heh
So somewhere along the line i'd think the golem or bigboom would be more expensive to run if you give it enough time.

I'm not saying dorfs should get any special skills as its not a true summoner, i am merely saying that the way things are atm with the way things are the summoner does have the upper hand, in solo play.

The Golem has no inventory so it can use shots.

My Golem use 5 soulshots per hit (I can go through 100k shot in one day grinding...10-12 hours). 21 C crystals per buff round (5 to summon and 4 in 4 intervals).

My Big Boom do use 99 spiritshots AND I have to resummon it after each boom because it kills it self (it takes 30% if any mob dies while the Big Boom is active). It needs 5 D grade crystals each summon and if you don't set it off it will eat another 4 in 4 intervals (total of 21 crystals).
