So if we get a brandnew Euro server there would be no market at all to buy some stuff.
If everyone can just take equipped items with you i doubt someone would sell his only weapon or armor.
You would not have any materials to craft some new equipement and that might not change to early.
One other concern is soulshots and blessed spiritshots would not be availeble so soon too only after 1 week competion ( i dont see much issues for D and C shots ).
I can already see what will happen invasion of soulless and people that have the most money will take over the server.

the new server is for those that missed out on the transfers and as such not comparable to a regular "new server" ie people are not expected to start at lvl1 so who knows..
btw NC Soft would be stupid to go back on their words here as people will not wait 1 year for this but go play one of the other MMORG's that are coming out this year..

simply said either they enable transfers to Franz/Teon/Luna or those left behind will drop this game eventually to play Aion, AoC or Warhammer etc..
You'd need half a dozen WS to get started, that wouldn't be such a big deal. Crystals would be an issue but not for long (and not the B Crystals).
I know get a few warsmitsh with the right recipes up wont be a big deal.
Getting materials for crafting will be. Even if some materials are availeble they would be very expensive.
As long no one owns a castle for the manor sys crafting equipemt will be hard and expensive.
Maybe you could raid for some items but without ss and sps would be harder. Same goes for sieges.
Then again im sure after 1-2 months the problems are solved by the soulless armys that overrun the new server.
You can get B-grade crystals via shop too, S-cry from Mammon and A/S from doing some RBs and then crushing drops. Just need more people for the raid that way. In a few weeks, the dominant clans/alliances would have a system running that provides them with enough SS/BSPS and then they could concentrate on material gathering. With SS/BSPS only for the few, sieges and epic bosses would be dominated by the side that can supply those ^^
In another post i typed that NC is so smart on this...NC just announced a new server so everyone who didnt got he transfer now and is stucked in a DEAD server will still keep playing and w8ing for the new server...But if the new server will come i dont think they will let u change to him also...yo 1,5 year to go ..GZ NC again
