I would more rather get 2x the exp than to worry about the pitiful amount of adena you get while leveling. You can easily earn more than enough adena to make up for the loss through some of the quest and selling the drops.
How come NC servers in other countries (Korea, Taiwan, Japan, whatsoever) have so many fun in-game events happening almost every month yet we have nearly nothing on US/Euro servers?
Bots are already benefit from 3rd party programs. Event or no event, they will always level much faster than legit players. So why should we care or suffer 'cuz them?
Not to mention you'll level twice as fast but still only get the same amount of money. Which is bad.
Now you talk like a bot. You can always delevel like most bots by hitting town guards.
Well it has to happen there before it happens here.
I don't really mind. Events should be special, not a monthly thing.

Thats very true!!! I have waited for many events that turned out to be....................not worth the wait.
Participation: Really depends on the event most you have no choice but to participate if you want to lvl. But you can pick and choose through the drops and not pick up event items. But that isn't really practicle either.
FUN: Now that is the key word. It's different for everyone though. I thought the bunny events and raid boss events were fun. Having to run all over hunting for event mobs if fun for me. Others may not like that and enjoy the event drops while doing thier normal grind, to me thats not much of an event. Something that takes me out of my normal routine is what I look for.

I want the pumpkin event back, the one we had a few years ago when the rewards were pretty good, like A crystals, EWA/B/C, etc. Oh, and my bishop would look so adorable with a piggy or poobear hat, too bad they were impossible for me to get, since I'm not grinding 10-12 hours a day :) I did see some dwarf selling pig hat for 250 mil, I almost peed myself :eek:

Actually NCSoft does lots of Double XP type events...... for Lineage 1, not Lin 2 :( If they can do it for LIn 1, then why not Lin 2? Sure would be nice. Lin 1's runs usually from Friday morning till late Sunday night / early Monday morning. Here's to hoping.

Well they sort of did an increased XP event when they had those bunnies that gave a lot of XP back in C2. Unfortunately they were very hard to find. I remember dreaming I'd find one and lvl and get lots of money :3....never happened.
I was hunting outside aden on those goats with my SH.. i seen one ... so i called like 4 buddies of mine ( since it was deep red ) we all got buffed up and *BAM* it was one shotted ...
Well they sort of did an increased XP event when they had those bunnies that gave a lot of XP back in C2. Unfortunately they were very hard to find. I remember dreaming I'd find one and lvl and get lots of money :3....never happened.
That was one of my favorite event of all time. I had just started playing the game and in my early 30's lvl. One of my clan mates was talking about killing one of the bunnies and getting tons of xp. Just from his story I was hooked and started running all over from Gludin to Giran every area you could think of. Finaly just north of Giran harbor by the house on the hill I spot a treasure chest with 6 white bunnies surounding it. All the bunnis and treasur chest were dark read but I had already heard they were easy to kill. I was playing a Glad on Teon at the time and went up and smacked the first bunny boom I lvl'd, I was like WTH. Needles to say I killed the rest of the bunnis I got enough xp from those 6 bunnis to lvl twice and be almost 50% into the third lvl. I then started in on the treasure chest which was a hole different story I barely survived that incounter but boy was it worth the risk. It dropped a a full set of top D jewelry, EWD's EAD's and a bunch of compressed packages of SS, bsps and sps. After that I was hooked and all I did was run around looking for more until the event was over. I ended up find a total of 4 groups of bunnies with the treasur chests and 3 groups without the treasure chests. With only killing treasure chests and bunnise I gained 5 lvl's during that event.
It was awesome that event totaly turned the game around for me and I have been hooked ever since.
The fouth of July event in 2005 and the holloween riad boss events are my favorite of all the events. No events since has had me as excited about logging in and participating in an event.
Isn't it extra xp event all the time now? Never seen so many empty rooms in high lvl catacombs on Gustin before :)
Not to worry....TTJJlove, JJTTlove and LoveJJTT (and all the various permutations thereof) are all leveling in the dwarf coal mines as we speak. They'll be back to their old locations before you know it. >_<
Unless of course, using /gm in game actually gets things done this time. O_o?

d/c/b crystal can be made using only npc shops and general commodities like SOP. you won't get a/s crystals without trade to mammon or crystallizing some a/s stuff. now imagine how much will cost AA after couple weeks and unhealthy joy of crafting without any wide commodities market being in dreams that those crystals are very cheap.
yes, if your char is under lvl 61 you can just ignore what i try to say. but once you get A-grade stuff you will face with 'new economics politics'. :p
