Will have to post my Dragon Slayer Augment. Passive chance to root (lvl 8 hold) anyone who damages me, its nice, but will be redoing it eventually, higher lvl augments fire more in PvP and such, or so I hear.
That one is bad, get rid of it. The moment you sleep em you will just hit them again, therefore wake them up. If you think you can stop just in time, well you better have ninja reflexes.
edit: I am speaking from experience, I had the exact same one, on the exact same weapon.

Yea i know it isnt great for pvp.. but it works nicely in pve,
when u have more mobs attacking u...
Will change wep anyway once i hit 76++
But until then, it's a keeper ^^

Actually, that's exactly what I'm talking about.
In PvE, when it does land, I'd like to see you stop yourself from hitting the mob that you just slept. Dagger speed is way to fast for you to stop, unless ur a ninja, which I'm pretty sure don't exist. I've TRIED it. It sucks.
In PvP it's like a extremely low activation rate and when it does it usually doesn't land cause it's only lvl 10 sleep if you used a 76LS, like me.
Basically, PvE, fun to see it go off, but useless. PvP, joke. Get rid of it and try for Physical reuse time.
You guys that are showing your augs, can you tell us what stone you used? Grade and level please?
Use the mid grade ones. The only thing that the high grade ones do is give you an electric effect on your weapon. It doesn't "guarantee" a good augment.
The non grade stones seems to just give low to mid effects, although I hear that a good/excellent augment is not impossible.
As for levels, it doesn't matter, the higher lvl you lifestone is the more potent the effect/spell. For instance a 76 midgrade LS getting a Chance Sleep augment, will get you a lvl 10 sleep. Which is GREAT if you have a pole, since it's AOE and you can prolly stop from waking the slept mob(s) by hitting them again, but terrible on a dagger, claws, or duals.
Mobs that are slept dont start hitting u right away when they take damage. They usually stand around for a sec or two.
Which is useless.
Especially if there is more than 1 mob, as pI6 is saying it's useful for.
Passive chance activates RIDICULOUSLY low and doesn't always land. Like 3% activate and the land rate depends on lvl of augment sleep vs mob lvl. Get it?
The sleep aug is a novetly cuz it's a red lettered one, but it's USELESS on a Dagger. Get another.

It says that it has a chance to trigger on someone/thing that damages you, not those you do damage to. So if you have multiple mobs hitting you, and it lands on one you're not hitting, I can definitely see the use for it - in theory. However, I know how low the trigger rate is for chance augments, so meh. At least it has +crit, so that's something at least.
i used a 67 high grade on my duals for the double crit augment. you can say it sucks or w/e you want but i rock olympiad against people who have +9 s duals

I got a interesting one today on my +10 Aoba,
10ish to crit and chance to paralyze on a crit... was a lvl 58 normal (no glow obviously but it's red writing)
Not sure how good that would be tho... hmmm What do you guys think? I took it out on some 4x mobs but only killed a few.. Must be a really low chance to para and with it being a blunt .. that goes even lower but still...
I have one that gives a bit of critical and MP or something and also 'cancels your target' but ... I dunno if its ever worked :( I never see an animation or feel like I just debuffed anyone and they are dying faster.
Sounds cool, but I'm thinking I need to get a better one.
46 Normal on a Beserker Blade (ya its a waste, so sue me :))
