What makes a BH a character anyone wants to play? Being self-sufficient!!!!!!!
The major issue is NCsoft did not think about the people who do not buy adena. The say don’t buy it, but why not let people move there warehouses to different servers. BH mains have been totally screwed update after update, and once again we were the ones hurt. NCsoft do you care at all?
My main is a BH, because I farm to keep myself in equipment, I’m penalized. I keep and sell my goods; I farm for myself and to sell to get adena. If I transferred yes I would keep my toon and the gear it has on it, but the gear/items I have farmed for 3 years would be gone. I have 3 toons full of items, a clan warehouse and main. I’m worried even more people will leave, because of the frustrations to come. Where does that leave a person who works hard for their gear? For their clan? My small clan has a hall and a fort we are level 5 with clan skills. We have worked hard for these! Where does that leave us NCsoft? Move to X server and loose 50% of what we have worked for?

What level are you anyway? I know some 80's literally blew up 4-5 *billion* in gear to get OE'ed stuff just to come over, since they coudnt take the cash with them anyway.
Transfer to new server and simply leave rest behind. Make some alt, put all stuff you have on it and slowly sell what you have. Then transfer that alt some time later with money you got. Few lowbie alts can help you with materials by manoring on new server.
If you are BH, it won't be hard to get everything you need on new server. Take it as new challenge, there is always something positive in it. I found it pretty exciting to "pack by back" and prepare for transfer. Also I had some toons starting from scratch previously on new server, and it was challenge as well. If nothing else, you get at least opportunity to clean your warehouses :) Look at it this way: is it better to stick on server with no economy with WHs full of stuff that noone buys, or start semi-fresh on new exciting populated server?
Does it matter if you are BH or not? I wanted to transfer the 2nd week to a EU server cause I was waiting for my leader to change clan and I sold all my mats ( notice just mats ) for mid-low prices and made 200mil. I have a lot of other junk still to sell but no point cause I cant move to an EU server...

Its pretty much the same for me except for CH and fortress.
Since i cant take all my stuff with me its not an option to change the server.
Selling all stuff i have wont help me because i can only take 350 mil with me. Also try sell some stuff on gustin the servers goes less populated every week.
No i wont change the server even if a new euro comes out. The drawback is to big for me.

NC just missed the chance to do things right. They should have done some eurotimes on the low populated servers some time before the transfers where ready.
As it is now the US time servers go less populated and more worse every week. The people that sacrifice most of there work to transfer get penalty after the trasfer.
The people that dont transfer get an empty server and will quit the game sooner or later.
