SpellHowler Questions and tips.

I started my Spellhowler roughly 3 weeks ago with a friend who is playing an Elven elder. I love the class, at first I was thrown off by how little damage they can take, but once you start realizing how much you can dish out with very little support (unlike an archer) it got me interested. We started in Kamael villiage because their mobs are so close together and is was very easy to get to 20.

20 - 30 We leveled around Cruma swamps.
30 - 40 We leveled mostly in Heine (FoS).
40 - 46 We leveled in Alligator Island.

I'm wearing Demon set with a +10 Homu

My tattoo setup is the typical:

+4int/+4wit -8Men +4Con -4Str

We are currently looking for a new spot to level, IT is too low, and Lizardmen are also too low. Were looking for a 2 hit mob that drops herbs, we haven't had any luck.

Any info would be appreciated.

try around devastated castle, lover mobs drop herbs and should be ok

I take it you are upper 40s level. If so, Forest of Mirrors, Forest of Evil, Outlaw Forest, and the areas east and west of Aden are all good for upper 40s - mid50s. At mid-50s, head to Forsaken Plains or, if it's full, go to the area around Devestated Castle.

52 - 72, Valley of Saints. With a +10 homu and demon set you should be able to two hit them easily, especially if you use death spike.

Even better.. Karmian set, +10 Homu Prophet+SE buffs (remember resist fire), get to level 44 for Death Spike and go to VoS! It's tough and hard but when I could do it with top D-grade jewels (LOL I KNOW!) you should do even better with C-grade jewels..

The most fun I ever had with a nuker, I was a Necro btw :>

hunter gargs work either outlaw forest or in dragon valley

my 52 SH can oneshot them with empower and cdl

Solo AoE in ABG after 62 ftw!

Maybe have a look at Devil Isle, the mobs are not easy but the main difficulty is they despawn during fight and respawn full life, sometimes with another name.

Many are undeads if you can kill them fast enough with the help of the EE they wont have time to annoy you.

ive been going to vos for a while death spike will 1hit the blade of splendor the rest mis it up and shadow flare for overhit

Don't overhit too much though otherwise you'll end up tens of millions of SP behind where you should be by lv 76+, like me :(
