I have been playing since open beta and have done all these events, best I have ever gotten is 1 EWA. Have done a few EWB's here and there, but I must have the worst luck ever. Can someone in the GM department edit my luck modifier on my account please? I will participate in this one, but chances are I won't get anything, so I will only do the minimum this time, if that.
I got mad when I woke up this morning to drop rates as rare as the Zariche..
Yeah it's the one part of the event that really bothers the hell out of me. We don't all keep the same hours... They seem to boost it during prime time but god their rare after that. Really is sucky. I mean, it's only this weekend and next leave the drop rates alone.
Oh the drop rates, I've made some experiments. First I went to do bunny event and I got 32 pieces. Then I start farming with my orc mystic and I get 4 very fast. then nothing for a LOT of time. So I switched to my kamael and I got 3 more pieces then nothing for a long time again.
Then I put all the pieces in the clan warehouse, clan is owned by the other account and start farming again and I got 6 pieces in a reasonable amount of time.
Think what you want but I think the more pieces you have on you or your account the less are the chances you'll get another one.
I made 16 in 2 buff rounds hunting normally, and 150 on bunnies with 6 accounts (so 1 hr = 150 on bunny and 1 hr should be 23 on normal).
Only had juices... :'(
nah drop rates got burned as usual i thin the poster who said the pieces are about as rare as getting blood sowrd or demon sword but we can be assured that all the mobs will still be dropping thier stems cuz nc knows how much we really love them stems... and threads
Last night me and another got over 500 in 4 buff rounds... today 2 buff round stotalled us 76... so yea the drop rates went from good to .. what event?

So tonight thank to another transform I added 2,750,000 adenas in my purse.
I didn't farm mobs but did two scrolls on other servers and got 1,5kk twice. For each one, with 500k I was able to equip the char in top NG in case I want to play with it a bit (1kk left for both).
i need adena... but on my server it's great if i sell it for something around 15-20k which is very tiny adena income. i don't know how valuable can be some not-so-very-valuable prize. :S i'm tormented by dim doubts...

Well, look at it this way. I have received about 6 elemental stones. Selling each one at a minimum of 20M adena puts 120M adena in my pocket...just for hunting and trying my luck with the Event.
That is also the equivalent of 300 sacks (50 sacks each X 6 element stones) . If I had sold all 300 sacks for 30K instead of turning them in, I would have only earned 9M adena.
Would you rather take a chance on 120M or go with the safe 9M?
Before you decide, I mentioned in another post that I used some of the adena from selling elemental stones to buy enchants and make a +8 SOM...value of that is, what, 900M to 1.5B, depending on server? That 9M from selling the sacks seems like a bad choice in that light.
Truth, there is no wrong answer here. Pick the path that makes the game the most enjoyable for you.
I got a couple of 6th prizes and a 5th. Haven't bothered opening them as of yet. I still have sacks to spend, but I'm waiting till the end of the event, then I'll see how much they are worth and if they sell for a big enough chunk of money I'll sell. Otherwise no one will be able to wrestle them out of my hands :)
I got hardly any sack yet because NCSoft hate euro players.
Infact I've lost adena on this event because I can barely participate with pitiful droprates in my timezone (70% drop NA time, under 10% droprate euro time) so have to buy sacks from other players.
Poor Ferine, didnt you transfer from one NA server to another NA server ? :)
And NCSoft must really hate you because they are going to add another Euro server........cold hearted bastiges. ;)
On a serious note, I got one of those rideable wolves.
Altho its only a shadow item with a 2 hour time limit.
I will definately want one of the real ones when they add them later on.
wind stone x2 (i got a gambling problem with this event so i used the money from the first one to buy a bunch of parts which wasted about 30mil adena >.<. when i sell the second i'll be back at around 50mil)

Well i very stupidly opened up 18 #5 bags on Of alltoons prophet, Realy sucks but he now has 80 cocktails with buffs that he can do better him self..Granted not hr, but still shooting myself in foot. And i cant even sale them.
Havent tried freight. but pretty sure that doesnt work either. why is every thing else able to be sold, traded. e tc. not the cocktails ... all I got to say is lame.......still hopeing the next 2,500 event item i get, at least 1 1st place bag would be nice. none so far. :mad:

I have turned in over 1200 and only 1 2nd place sack so far. Beside your luck must be outstanding being lucky enough to get a SOM to +9
I was exstatic when I got my Dark stone. Was only one other in Giran for sale and it was going for 80mil. But as usual they are everywhere now and the price is dropping fast. I will put it in Wh for a month or so then prices will be back up.
I am happy though that I have 40 hours of buffs on my main and 25 hours of buffs on both of my dwarfs. Dwarfs are lvl 40 those are great. Not so grat for my Sps but better than nothing.

My point is if I hadn't turned in any of the sack pieces, I would have never known the results, and therefore, never benefited.
Sure, some of the sack pieces resulted in level 3 - 6 sacks, and I've tons of juices and cocktails. But my intuition is that the juices are there to help you grind even longer, instead of stopping to get buffs and restarting. Even level 1 hour long pots help you kill faster than no buffs at all.
As for the enchants, I've always had good luck when it came to that...but that's another story, for another time. ;)
Actually I started only few weeks ago on retail (Teon), so it was a great chance to get some money for my char. I made safe 17mil just by selling sacs which I farmed a bit (got about 400+). I am too poor to try my luck and in my eyes it was a better choise for me. Now I can craft some nice C-grade stuff. Cant wait till next week to make at least 7mils
i got a giants codex of mastery from a 2nd place sack. it was my 4th sack i opened :P ill post a SS when i get home.
i also got a mid-76, mid-61, and a mid-70. ofc, i got cocktails, and ive only had 6th place sacks twice.
I traded 50 sacks in once and I received some evasion juices.
After that I just started selling them and I've made 60m so far.
Selling them is actually a very good idea, you're much more likely to make good adena then trying your luck. With gambling them all you can come out empty while selling them brings in a definite profit. Depends on how willing to gamble one is.
With four accounts and poling I managed to make 2200 sack pieces this weekend.
I got all juices and cocktails, plus:
1 x EAB = 200k
1 x EWD = 500k
2 x Mid LS55 = Bin
So rubbish here d:/
If you had sold these you could have easily made even a few hundred million (on franz or teon or even bartz i would think). However the prospect of some 12-13 lvl crystal I guess is tempting :(.
Did you get the wolf bracelet from opening sacks or from the fireworks chests? Someone got one from a fireworks chests but I'm not sure if you can get them from opening sacks.
I got 1 EWC, a mid 55 ls, lots of buffes coctails, juices amd 15m from selling some of those.
Most of the lifestones of the event gave active skills to my clanmates even the lower ones but i didn't get so lucky.
After noticing the horrible drop rate of TSP from mobs and Treasure Chests during the daylight none prime time hours of the event I decided to keep all my transform scroll for all 3 of my accounts until well into prime time. I was able to collect about 1000 pieces from the Chests this way.
Added with what I received from mob drops I collected about 1200 TSP the final weekend and received 14 6th, 8 5th and 2 4th place Sacs.
To say I was disappointed is a mild understatement.
Did anyone across any server manage to get an A Grade weapon from a Chest? Anyone manage to get S Grade armor from a 1st place Sac? I know 3 players that got Lvl 14 SA Crystals on Hindemith. Lol just another 3 - 6 months before S 80 weapons are available on Hindemith.
3 Level 76 Mid Grade Life stones. 1 Level 61 Mid Grade Life Stone, Ton of juices. a Divine stone. 4 EAD ,3 EWD, 1 EAB, 2 EWB and 8 mill just selling the rest of the sacks.
Wel, I FINALLY got something worth decent money from this event. For the first time in the history of me participating in L2 events I got a Divine Stone that sold for more than 30 mil (I am not counting the invasion where I picked up alot of dropped gear from people going red and/or dying to raid bosses, losing peace zones was alot of fun that day).
I will now no longer be able to claim the title of "unluckiest man in lineage"
no, I made nothing during the pig event, got alot of buff scrolls though. I could just sell event items, but that isnt as fun to me. And no, I dont sell the scrolls, as I do not have a buff slave, I use mine sometimes (still have most of them though).

Like how they value for example dollar versus euro, dollar versus yen, etc. I'm not look for the exchanges. I want the basic of it. I know it is complex but someone here might know of some good reading.

I got 1 enchant armor S C & D , a divine & fire stone, like 60 cocktails on different chars and some juces.
had about 1000 sacs ( booth weekends ) in total due the poor droprate for the main time i could play.
I got a few firework chests but only got more sac pieces of em once i gt a lvl 6 sack of em thats it.
A lot ppl on gustin seems to have gotten top A weapons there are plenty for sale atm.

the rest was all cocktails and selfbuff stuff.
Luckily i was able to sell the devine stone for 50mil.... but imo, that's pretty **** poor... just as bad as my pig event results. (actually i've yet to manage to get anything rather worth mentioning out of any event thus far)
